章節 2: Chapter 2 - Losing everything broke him.
"Isaac, the evidence clearly shows your killing your mother and sister. So shut up." Eva spoke. Isaac hatefully glared at Eva which made her frightened for a moment.
"You are a criminal who kills his mother and sister and now you dare to glare at me. Your Majesty, I demand justice for the death of my sister Emilia and my daughter Mia." Isaac almost coughed blood seeing this bitch acting. Now Isaac was 90 percent sure, that Eva had something to do with his mother's death.
Liam also got angry seeing Isaac glaring at his favorite wife.
"Isaac I…..Before Liam could finish his words; Leo his teacher suddenly changed his appearance into Isaac, shocking everyone even Eva.
Leo looked at Isaac, as Isaac stared at him in shock."I am sorry Isaac but I always hated your mother and wanted to kill her. That's why I came here. But I also love you."
"Your Majesty, I can change my appearance for a brief moment. I wanted to frame Isaac at first but I just love him too much." Leo turned to Isaac and gave him a knowing nod which was only seen by Isaac.
Isaac at that very moment knew that his teacher had used his life to save him. Isaac knew his teacher's character too well. Leo was the type of person who wouldn't hesitate to kill himself to save Isaac.
"Teacher, why did you do this?" Isaac grabbed Leo's shoulder and roared. He just lost his mother and sister and now he is going to lose someone close to him, someone, who was like his grandfather.
Leo took out a dagger and looked at Liam, the king.
"Your Majesty, I have been serving this kingdom for almost 18 years. I have one last request that is please give my student Isaac a chance of competing for the throne."
Leo then pushed Isaac to the ground and looked at him. "Isaac I am sorry." Leo stabbed himself to death, in front of everyone.
Nooooooo!
Isaac is not ready to lose his teacher. Isaac grabbed Leo's body before he fell to the ground.
"Why?" Isaac was crying, tears rolled down his cheek.
Cough! "This is the only way. Remember Isaac this world is much crueler than you think. Never trust anyone." Saying that Leo looked toward Eva. One didn't have to be a genius to know who Leo was referring to. Even Liam couldn't even believe it after understanding Leo's words' meaning.
Isaac silently cried as he carefully laid his teacher's body on the ground.
Liam also felt sad seeing one of his strongest Commanders die like this. Liam also felt sad about the fact he spoiled his first wife too much which cost him his daughter and wife. Liam at this moment felt the mistakes that he had done.
"Someone take Leo's body and clean everything. Give everything Leo possessed, like his money, clothes, spear, sword, property everything to Isaac." This was the least that Liam could do.
'This is the least I could do for you, Isaac.' Liam wondered why Leo killed Emilia and decided to investigate this matter later.
Isaac watched as his teacher's dead body was being taken. Isaac was about to leave but then someone's voice stopped him.
"Your Majesty, are we going to leave Isaac unpunished for what he did to me? Isaac dared to glare at me. I want justice otherwise I will lose my respect." Isaac's expression slowly turned cold and colder.
Liam thought his queen's words at right. If he doesn't punish Isaac then others would think that he is favoring Isaac which could cause lots of headaches for him.
"My queen, you decide what punishment Isaac should get since he had dared to act disrespectfully to you."
Hearing Liam's words, Isaac's expression again turned colder. Isaac remembered what his teacher said, 'This world is crueler so I will also become a heartless monster to survive. I promise I won't die until I find the culprit and get my revenge.'

Isaac ignored the voice he just heard thinking that he was just imagining things in his head and coldly looked at Eva, waiting for her punishment.
"Your majesty, as a form of punishment I suggest you give Isaac the coastal Desert region completely under his control. The coastal desert region will have no connection with our kingdom and Isaac is to be made the new king." Liam foolishly smiled thinking that even though Isaac disrespected his favored wife, Eva still looked out for Isaac and decided to give Isaac the Desert region.
Hearing Eva's words, everyone knew that Isaac was finished. The ministers' expressions did not change. They knew Isaac was out of the competition. Some people looked at Isaac in pity. Some officials who stayed in the Castle knew how intelligent and mature Isaac was. They even had some hope that Isaac would become a dark horse and overthrow both the first and second prince. But now everyone knew that Isaac was done.
Isaac's expression became ugly for a moment but later this ugly expression turned even more cold expression. His heart also kept getting colder.
Liam thought for a moment. The Coastal Desert region was located in the eastern part of the Aetas Empire. The Coastal Dessert was 300 Km in size, and only a small part of it has vegetation.
The coastal region is abandoned. Because of the desert climate, no one was interested in that place. Liam felt Isaac could live his life in the coastal desert without having to worry about anyone since no one wants that place. Little did Liam know that the coastal region was one of the most corrupted and dangerous places in the entire Aetas Empire. Of course, Liam wouldn't know about it since he is always busy with women and alcohol. Liam was thinking that this decision could let his son grow and live his life in peace but little did he know that he was pushing his life towards hell.
"Okay, from today onwards Isaac is the owner and king of Coastal dessert. I declare that the Coastal Desert region will have its King and governing body and ruling system. However, the whole Coastal Kingdom will be under the Aetas Empire, and Isaac as the king of the Coastal region will have to pay 10 percent tax on the total earnings generated from his kingdom every year."
In addition, I will give Isaac 5000 Gold coins, and 1000 soldiers." In this continent, 1 Gold coin is worth 100 silver coins, and 1 Silver coin is worth 100 Bronze coins. There are also platinum coins used by the nobles of this kingdom.
Isaac felt Liam and others were just trying to abandon him after his mother's death. Again Isaac's heart grew colder. Isaac knew that sending him there meant that Isaac is out of the competition. Just surviving at that place was extremely difficult not to mention ruling that place. Isaac won't able to find the culprit who killed his mother and sister.
Liam thought that Isaac won't need much money since the coastal region wasn't that populated. Liam was completely wrong on this matter. When Liam was 11 years old, at that time Liam only studied the population of the Coastal region. So he was making his decision based on what he learned which was more than 4 to 5 decades ago. Over the decades the coastal region has become a free zone for all types of criminals. Criminals from the many kingdoms including the Aetas Empire would run away to the Coastal region to escape from their punishment.

Suddenly as if something magical happened. Isaac suddenly started to feel that he was able to think things more clearly than before. Isaac felt something inside of him change. Isaac didn't know what happened to him but was able to think through it and was no longer bound by emotions.
It was then Isaac saw a transparent screen, something which others couldn't see. Isaac strangely didn't feel panicked or any other emotions seeing the transparent screen. Isaac decided to know about the system later. Even though Isaac didn't want to Isaac had no choice but to kneel in front of Liam. Strangely enough, Isaac felt calm and was able to think through the situation. Isaac knew the current him had no strength so he needed to keep a low profile and survive until Isaac can strike back.
"Your majesty, I have one last request." Isaac's body trembled for a moment before his eyes again turned even colder than before. Seeing Isaac controlling his emotions so well Eva, Liam, Mary and others were surprised for a moment.
"I wish to see my mother and sister one last time." Liam sighed and agreed. Why would Liam deny such a request? Even though Liam didn't show it, he too was very sad about the death of Isaac's mother.
"Permission granted."
Isaac took one last glance at Liam and Eva. Then Ethan who was smiling, and his mother Mary.
'I swear in my mother's name, I will have my revenge. Nothing can stop me.' At that moment Isaac's eyes completely changed. Isaac went from being a person who radiated warmth and positiveness to becoming a person who looked no different from a dead person.

Ignoring the words of this strange thing that called itself the system, Isaac walked out of the throne room and went to see his mother and sister's dead body. Liam sighed in depression as he watched Isaac walk out of the hall. At this moment Liam knew that he had failed. He couldn't do even a single thing right. In front of his own eyes, one of his children turned into a different person. Seeing those eyes, Liam knew that Isaac will come back for blood. But Liam was not going to stop Isaac nor support him. At this moment what he felt was endless guilt pressing on his heart.
Isaac walked for 5 minutes and arrived at the place where his mother and sister's dead body was being kept.
But Isaac saw a familiar figure standing in front of him, blocking his way.
"Lucas move"
Lucas is the first prince of Aetas kingdom and son of Eva. Lucas is short but handsome young man. He had black hair like Isaac but he always treated Isaac like servant. Seeing Isaac cold and indifferent attitude, Lucas was pissed.
"Oh, it looks like you have become arrogant after getting a waste land ownership."

Lucas slap directly made Isaac fall on ground. Isaac right cheek became red and blood came out from Isaac's mouth.
Isaac coldly looked at Lucas. Seeing Isaac, the person whom Lucas used to treat as a servant, the person who used to look at Lucas in fear in the past, now looking at him with a cold and indifferent look Lucas became mad and started kicking Isaac. Lucas enjoyed seeing the fear in Isaac's eyes but today there was no fear in Isaac's eyes which pissed him off.
"What's with this look? Do you think I am afraid of you? I am the future king of the Aetas Empire and you are nothing. I can take away that pathetic piece of wasteland from you anytime."
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Lucas ruthlessly began to kick Isaac. Isaac could do nothing but cover his head. Isaac didn't had the power to fight against Lucas. Lucas was the fifth phase of the Silver rank cultivator. If Lucas hadn't held back in fear of angering his father, Isaac would have died already
