She peeked in the scanty booklet in her hand and placed the mic like she was going to say something but burst into cheerful laughter. Everyone also wore a smile of anticipation and curiousness.
The judges has the votes right from the start, they already knew who it was but leaned on their couches and crossed their tees.
"If I was to be this person, I would have built a mansion in cloud nine, but does it really matter? This person is a cheerful giver to majority of the charity homes and orphanages within the country and out."
"It surprises me to see that this person doesn't boast with any egos on its shoulders. We are humans, so is this person too. No way we don't have pride in us but this one human being developed an habit of being humble and simple."
"Who is this?" When the whole placed seized like an angel just passed by, the presenter beamed. No one could easily guess who it might be or who it was exactly. The gender was nill.
Scanning at the one written article on the second to the last page, she squealed in excitement.
"Let's make welcome to the bestest of the best. The world's international greatest and fastest rapper of both gender of our time." Pausing for a while, she exclaimed excitedly, "Empress Jee!"
In unison, the whole crowd clapped their hands with loud shouts and scream. Her darling fiancé took the first step forward to accompany her through the staircase and left her to go on from there.
She didn't look proud, nor nervous. A priceless smile appeared on her face as she walked majestically to the stage. Her hot steps made the people drool and worship her like a little goddess.
Finally, she got to the first step of the stage and the male presenter carefully helped her up. The female presenter adored her like a Disney princess.
They exchanged hugs and pecks on both cheeks. She was gracefully honored and politely respected as the 'Gramophone trophy' Was handed to her. The presenter lowered herself a bit while presenting it to her as a big sign of showing great respect.
Though the other artists who were awarded before her gained some respect from the presenters but not as highly respected as that of jin-joo's.
It was as if a queen just got coronated or ascended on the throne. Everyone who clapped for her were still standing on their feet with cheerful faces. None where seated.
She chuckled at the trophy which was made of flashier, stronger zinc alloy and veridical gold. Her eyes was filled with overwhelming joy, expensive yet priceless happiness, graceful cheers and excitement.
She took up the mic to make a speech but ended up chuckling. She felt a little bit timid on this one. The multitude for this year's nomination was way too countless than last year's.
Meanwhile, Sebastian on the other hand, kept winking at her. Not that she could see him from a distance but he knows were her heart was staring at right now. He constantly kept whispering to the air, "Go on baby, you can do it. I believe in you."
As if the wind blow a sound transmission to her ears, Jin-joo bit her lower lip and blushed like Sebastian was standing beside her.
She silently cleared her throat and chuckled, "Oh my God, this is so crazy, I swear, I wasn't expecting this at all. I mean I don't even think am an inch close to deserve this. It's so so so so sweet. What a great privilege to have this with me."
"When," She tilted her head towards the presenter whom called her out and added, "You know, when the incoming statements where dropping down bit by bit, I wondered whom it was."
"You really did?" The presenter squealed.
"Of course believe me, I actually did. Not knowing I was wondering about my very own self." She beamed before facing the multitudes, "Sitting down there with my man, I was like geez, no fucking way they're ever gonna choose me."
"And here I am standing with this golden grammium in my hand. Guys, I want to really say a very big thank you to you all. To be candid, I am fucking out of words right now. Speechless like–ugh, I wouldn't have made it up to this stand if not for your support, ratings and percentage votes."
"I love you all. Peace and love from the Empress." She blew flying kisses after translating 'Empress' To Korea language.
Though some of the people had no idea what it meant but they knew it was spoken in Korea. Her brother and quite few followers who came from Seoul as guests and invitees understood the last word.
And they gave her a round of applause as she majestically walked to her seat.
