章節 44: It's urgent
Patting her shoulder, Nelly chuckled, "Let him be, mom. Its not your first time to see our hard workaholic Sebastian Flynn."
"At least someone needs to teach him how to keep certain things behind for a while." Gulping the coke to half, Petra sighed in satisfaction, "Oh boy, you don't know how much I've been craving for these."
Nelly rolled her eyes, "Oh please mom, is not like you can't get one for yourself."
"I wish if only Sebastian could allow me use my cards."
Widening her eyes in shock, Nelly turned towards Sebastian who was so busy with a scowl on his face, "Fucking hell, when was the last time this guy ever paid for me."
"That's because you always pisses him off," Petra laughed, almost choking on her pizza.
"Geez, Ugh." Helplessly relaxing his head on the couch top. Sebastian groaned in frustration, "Tell me what the hell is wrong with me?"
"Seb, is everything alright with you?"
Without saying anything to Petra, he stood up and started packing up the papers and files.
"Seb, are you okay?" When he did not say anything, Nelly stood up and walked towards him, "Is there anything bothering you? You can spill it out. Mom and I could be of help too."
"Nelly is nothing really, I can solve my problems myself." Looking at Petra, he added, "Mom, make sure the whole place are shut and intact. Though I'll speak with the guards and watchmen, okay?"
Scrunching her brows, Petra inquired, "What do you mean Seb? Are you going somewhere this late?"
"Mom, its urgent."
"What's as urgent as leaving the house this late." Standing up, she placed the pizza carton on the table and grabbed his hand, "Am talking to you Sebastian Flynn. Where the hell are you going?"
Taking a deep breath, he kept quiet for quite some time, "Mom, there's an important file I need to grab from the office right now."
Widening her eyes in shock, Petra snapped, "What? An important file at this hour? Seb do you know what says the time?" Glancing at her watch, she added, "Sebastian it almost ten o'clock and you're going to the office?"
"I understand your concern mom, but you have to understand that I need this file right now."
"You ain't leaving this mansion Sebastian. The route is dark and dangerous at this hour. I can't risk you for no good reasons."
"Mom, its just an hour drive, I'll be back before you know it, trust me."
Cupping his face, Petra remarked, "Of course I'd trust you my son but letting you go out this late is not appropriate."
"Sebastian, can I go with you?"
Vigorously nodding his head, he declared, "No Nelly, you have to stay with mom. I'll be back shortly."
"But there are guards around, they can guide mom."
"Nelly, you can't come with me, don't you understand?" He frowned.
"What is so important about this urgent file that it can't wait for tomorrow morning Sebastian?" Petra snapped.
