After the warden left the place, Draven entered Iron Bender's cell. The old man couldn't move his muscles but only his eyes. Draven pulled back the empty chair and sat down facing the general. He waited for the mirror to close again.
"General Iron Bender, the butcher of velakin," Draven looked the old man in the eyes,
"Life is so funny huh?" Draven looked around the empty room with no metal whatsoever. All he could see was a marble bed and a ceramic plate.
"You were a nightmare to the UFH and even to the Supremes. Now, look at you. The mighty fall hard," Draven snickered. But, since the old man was completely paralyzed, he could only move his eyes. Otherwise, with Draven's current self, he wouldn't have stood a chance against the general.
"Sarah, how many people our good general here has killed?" Draven asked Sarah through the Khal in his ears. The Khal was one of the devices built by UFH to communicate with their agents and gifted ones. But a year after they invented the devices, one of the many supervillains groups named 'the cabal' reverse engineered the device and produced a batch.
Although the UFH stopped the cabal, the supervillains had already sold a batch of Khals to the black market for a hefty price. These little devices were tough to get, but people like Martiland had access to them. Hence, Draven was able to get a pair through Martiland.
"The record shows six hundred and ninety-seven people," Sarah said,
"Six hundred and ninety-seven people. That's how many people UFH thinks you killed. But the real number is way higher than that right general? Or you lost count?" Draven grabbed the general's hand and squeezed it till he could the bones crunching,
General Iron Bender's eyes watered up in pain as Draven released his hand,
"Many people think you got what you deserved. But we think differently," as Draven arched his brow, Margoth materialized over his shoulder, flicking his tongue out.
The eyes of the general went wide as he tried to squirm but to no avail.
"You have done nothing but pain and suffering with your power. It's time they did some good for a change," Michael looked at the criminals in the other cells through the mirror,
Sling!
General Iron Bender saw the blade retracting from his sleeve. The old man immediately tried everything he could, which was rolling his eyes frantically. Draven was not in a hurry to kill the General. Instead, he wanted the general to be afraid, feel helpless, and desperate to survive.
Only when Draven ran his blade across General's face, did the inmates who were able to see Iron Bender's cell begin to shout.
"HEY!"
"GUARDS!"
"Holy fuck!"
"Look!"
The inmates shouted as loud as they could from their cells, but unfortunately, their cells were soundproofed. Hence, not a single beep escaped their cells.
Draven turned his head,
"Shhhh," the inmates saw Draven shushing them and felt a chill running through their spines.
"It's time you pay the price for your sins, human," Margoth snickered as Draven slashed the General's throat with his sword. The blood splashed across the wall as the old man's eyes turned redder and redder. His body didn't even twitch until Draven stood up and grabbed his head.
[Absorbing General Iron Bender's soul…]
The other inmates saw a bright white smoke slowly emerging and floating into Draven's mouth.
[Soul Absorption finished…]
After Margoth absorbed General's soul, his body withered, turning into a mummy. The inmates screamed and banged the glass just to get the guards' attention.
[4000 Soul Energy has been absorbed from General Iron Bender]
[The host only has one available power slot. The system is unable to acquire all three powers]
[The soul contains the following powers, Able to manipulate magnetic fields to his will, control metallic objects, and summon force fields]
[The host must select one of the three powers]
"Select the power to control metallic objects," Margoth shouted excitedly. Of course, the more powerful Draven was, the more souls he could absorb. So every time Draven powered up, Margoth would naturally become excited.
Draven felt an acute pain in his brain when he confirmed which power he wanted. Soon, the pain spread to his body, and for a few moments, every fiber in his body ached like he was being stabbed by hundreds of swords simultaneously.
Meanwhile, one of the guards noticed the criminals banging the glass and pointing at Iron Bender's cell. The guard sensed something was wrong as he made his way towards the General's room. The guard held the spear tightly on his way to the Iron Bender's cell.
[Received New Power!]
[The Host had received the power to control metallic objects by absorbing General Iron Bender's soul…]
Draven felt a warm sensation spreading throughout his body. He just closed his eyes for a moment and deeply exhaled as he could now feel every metal object around him within a ten-meter radius.
"HEY!" While Draven was feeling all the metal objects near his vicinity, the guard arrived at Iron Bender's cell. The guard shouted as soon as he saw the blood on the glass and the walls.
"GUARDS!" the guard shouted again to call the other guards.
Draven finally opened his eyes, turning his gaze to the guard. He could feel the guard's metal armor and the spear in his hand. Looking at the spear in the guard's hand, Draven raised his hand.
As soon as the guard saw Draven raising his hand, he felt the spear in his hand tremble. Then, out of the blue, the spear flew out of his hand, shattering the glass between them.
The spear hovered beside Draven.
"What the?" The guard was stunned as the spear slowly turned around.
"You…you…" the guard tripped down in fear. He tried to crawl back when every piece of armor on his body was stripped away by Draven. The armor floated in the air for a moment before slowly crumbling and transforming into daggers.
At that time, several other guards, including the warden, rushed to the scene and saw the naked soldier outside Iron Bender's cell. They still didn't see Draven because he was still inside the cell. However, when the warden saw the glass pieces on the ground, his heart skipped a beat.
It took them a second to notice the daggers made of metal hovering above the soldier. All of these daggers pointed at each cell in the block.
"What the fuck is happening here?" the warden growled, standing behind the guards.
While they were in a state of shock, Draven slowly stepped outside of the cell with the spear floating beside him.
"You!" the warden snarled,
"Hello warden," Draven stripped the clothes he wore above the armor and showed his true self.
"Get him!" the warden shouted instead of running away. Since he had several fully armored guards with him, he wasn't as afraid as the other cellmates.
"The fat in your body must be affecting your brain," Draven snickered.
The guards were ordered to capture Draven, but they didn't even take a step forward when Draven raised his hand, stripped them off their armor and weapon, and created several more daggers out of the armor.
The warden's eyes went wide. Every single one in prison was scared shitless. The guards were not equipped to fight a gifted one, especially a gifted one with General iron Bender's powers.
Whoosh!
In a blink of an eye, the spear hovering beside Draven soared through the air.
"HRRGG!" The soldiers who stood closer to the warden felt hot blood splashing on their faces.
"WARDEN!" they shouted as soon as they saw the large hole in the warden's head. By receiving bribes and pardoning the criminals, the warden became responsible for so many deaths in the kingdom. In a way, the warden was just as guilty as any supervillain in Etheria. Therefore, Draven passed the same judgment he passed to General Iron Bender.
After piercing the warden's head, the spear flew across the block and came to Draven's side once again. The soldiers shivered in fear. They couldn't even take a step towards Draven.
The blood oozing down from the tip of the spear was a good reminder to them of what would happen if they tried to be heroic. They might be the sword guards of the warden but they valued their lives more than they valued their words to a dead person.
"No criminal," Draven said, taking a step forward.
"Gifted or not," he raised his hands as all the swords and spears in the guards' hands flew out of their hands and joined the bloody spear.
At that moment, numerous spears and swords floated around Draven in all directions.
"Will live after taking an innocent life,"
Draven suddenly stretched his arms out as all the spears and swords soared through the air, shattering the glass mirrors guarding the criminals.
The guards saw the inmates getting slaughtered by the spears and swords. They trembled and sweated, looking at the walls getting painted red with the inmates' blood. Then, finally, they all screamed and shouted for help, only to be cut short by a spear or a sword, or both.
Draven showed no mercy whatsoever. He did not lower his arms until he killed every last criminal in the block.

[The host has earned 70 Legend Points]
[The host has earned 40 Legend Points]
…
Draven's Legend points rapidly increased without slowing down for a few minutes. As Draven walked towards the guards, the latter stepped backward. None of the soldiers dared to stop Draven because they had no death wish.
"Feel free to spread the word," Draven coldly said when he arrived before the soldiers. They looked as pale as white sheets, but some of them managed to bob their heads up and down.
After Draven looked around the bloody prison cells for one last time, he vanished into thin air, leaving the terrified guards alone.
