The structure of the serpent head arrived right behind Reus's back
Reus's body was immediately covered in dark armour and Reus looked deeply surprised right now and he shouted
"The serpent structure is the Monster!!!"
And just as he did that Reus's armour started emitting exploding dark flames which forced the serpent to turn back to retreat
Everyone turned back and noticed the structure of that serpent was moving just like a monster
"Holy Shit!!!! This monster didn't even show its presence till now!!!"
Sam was also surprised seeing this and as everyone else saw this they were also surprised seeing the serpent looking almost like stone structure hissing in front of them
"Sam! Block the movements for a few seconds!!!"
Reus commanded and next Sam immediately used his magic various earthen spikes started rising around the ground of the serpent forcing it to retreat
Everyone took that time to get ready in formation for the combat and just as expected next second the serpent destroyed all those earthen spikes from it's stone tail
And dashed at Reus and others with stronger fierceness and enraged look over his face
"Block it!!!"
As soon as Reus commanded Sam immediately launched a spell and a curved wall formed right in front of them blocking the direct impact with the serpent
'Good call! With the giant body of that monster, it is impossible to dodge it for all members...'
Klaus acknowledged this judgement of Reus and next moment Reus and Yumiko rushed at the serpent from two different sides
"It's a stone type monster, obviously his body is in touch so let's focus on crushing it rather than anything else!!!"
Reus said this with confident grin on face, Yumiko also nodded, Klaus also looked more satisfied with this
'Finally going on right path my friend!!!!'
Serpent looked at them but he couldn't keep focus on two peoples at once, Reus's sword absolutely covered in flames because of its own options
And Reus also seemed to be using the job skill with his eyes shining like some kind of kin of dragons
Reus's sword was the first one to strike, though the shape of sword that Reus held wasn't the best for something like crushing but even then the strength was enough to crush things
As Reus's sword touched the upper head part of the serpent a huge pressure from Reus's strength impacted the serpent
The whole body of the serpent felt a huge shock and its part of the body was forced to move in the opposite direction
But just next moment Yumiko also slashed her katana to the middle part of Serpent's body
Katana was also not a weapon for something like crushing but even then the katana named 'Shadowless Night' was different
It was covered with an aura of darkness and the force behind the katana was at least enough to turn a crack in that serpent's stone like body
And next moment the crack formed there felt a little dark explosion that blasted a relatively small part of its body into smithereens
"Sheeeeeeeeeee!!!"
The serpent felt a lot of pain after that but it wasn't all next was the turn is Sam, about two hands made up of earth appeared in the place and grabbed the middle and bottom part of the serpent
And the third earthen hand smashed the head of the serpent from the top
The head of the serpent was crushed between that earthen hand and ground for a moment and everyone noticed the serpent coughing out a pile of blood from its mouth
"Good!!! Let's keep it like that!!!"
Reus grinned with excitement but just as everything was going well Reus noticed the cracks all over the ground
"Wa-watch out!!!"
Reus immediately alerted others but it was already too late, the whole ground suddenly exploded and the whole ground had turned into a disrupted pile
But thankfully everyone managed to avoid it, Sam had fallen on top and a giant earthen hand which also had Anna and Ariana
"We are alright!"
Anna signalled Reus, Reus was also somehow holding on at the top of one pile of ground
Reus's gaze met with the serpent's cold eyes and next Reus suddenly noticed the sliness and coldness in that gaze
'Yumiko!?'
Reus suddenly became alert and his gaze moved all over the area but next moment he noticed Yumiko on another side of ground
She was also standing there but her position wasn't very favorable, she was surrounded between Serpent's tail and body
And next moment the Serpent immediately dashed at Yumiko with cold gaze and wide fangs
"Yumiko!!!"
Reus also dashed all at once, for a moment a few dragon like scales had formed in his body and he arrived between Yumiko and that stone serpent's head within a flash
Reus made a huge crescent cut with his sword that successfully managed to land directly at the mouth of the stone serpent
And with that they successfully managed to avoid the direct impact with the serpent but still the serpent smashed his tail to the ground near the place where Reus and Yumiko were standing at
This sends both Reus and Yumiko far away from the place along with some pile of ground
"Reus! Are you okay!?!!"
"Hey!!!"
Sam and other two looked worried and Sam immediately used his magic to delay the movements of that serpent
The ground suddenly swallowed the one third part of the body of the serpent inside it, the serpent was struggling and this gave others a chance to prepare
Ariana immediately used her spell and heal both Reus and Yumiko, as the dust disappeared Reus and Yumiko were seen successfully walking back
Reus was unscathed but Yumiko's clothing had more damage, it looked like she had received a little damage
"You okay?"
Reus asked her with the look of worry in his eyes, Yumiko nodded with a little red face, the room somehow seemed to be getting little warm there
But next moment all felt a huge chill over their spines, it wasn't like the Serpent had freed himself it was just Klaus's frustration was taking over his consciousness
'This son of a beach!!! How can you do romance in the middle of death battles fuokers!!! God Damnit!!!
If I wasn't their friend in the current situation I would have killed them more than hundreds of times by now!
That simp bastard!!!! You could have taken the chance to directly kill the serpent that had shown it's back to you!
With no opponent there will be no danger but he chose to protect Yumiko instead! Literally dragging the safety of the whole team because of him
Yumiko isn't so weak fuoker!!! She is also Tier 7 being! She can take at least a damage like that, she is also a damage dealer man?!!

Apollo also attempted to calm down Klaus but it was quite ineffective in the current situation

Finally the serpent also stood back removing all the ground that was stopping it, Reus and Yumiko also returned to sanity and became serious again
"Let's finish this..."
Reus took his sword tightly and others also suddenly became little serious, Klaus once again returned to calm mind
Next moment Ariana buffed each one of them for their specific purpose, Sam received mana buff, Yumiko got speed and Reus got strength
Anna was good to go as she couldn't do much against stone walls like that but even then she had her trump card for the situation
She tightened her grip over the bow and covered the arrow with immense wind aura
Next moment the serpent rushed at them but Yumiko also dashed like a flash against that serpent
She was literally just a dark flash in the situation and passed right by the rushing Serpent and next moment a line of dark explosion appeared in serpent's neck part
Followed by Sam who created a spell that created an earthen hand which smashed the serpent's face directly
This disrupted all the speed and force the serpent had while dashing at Reus
Reus took this chance and with the buff of wind he got explosive speed and with that he thrust his sword right at the neck part of Serpent which just received explosions because of Yumiko
"Screeeeeweweewwwwwwww!!!!"
The Serpent screamed and next moment Reus also took his sword back and jumped away directly in air
As soon as he made that distance the area where Reus had just thrust his sword and exploded in flames
Ariana and Anna didn't waste any more time, Ariana gave immense elemental buff to Anna and Anna also released her arrow
Her arrow went directly to the place in the neck of that Serpent which had been thrust by Reus's sword
Her arrow was covered in large amounts of wind and wind aura
And as the flames and that wind made contact with each other the whole neck of that Serpent exploded into smithreens
