章節 2: chapter one
King Albert was staring at his wife and children they are all that matters to him; they have been married for a year before his wife was able to conceive him a son named Tyler, three years later she bore him a daughter named Ariana
Prince tyler was known for his good looks in the entire kingdom of Airangon there was no man who could outstand him with good looks and masculine body, his dark black long hair was rare among other man which even most women were jealous of his hair, his perfectly shaped face, amber red lips and icy blue eyes captivates the heart of many maidens in airangon ; he very handsome and irresistible
While his sister Ariana turns out to be the most beautiful girl in the kingdom, her brown eyes, pink lips, curves and her long black hair was so captivating which got even her brother tyler breathless sometimes
Albert watched as tyler stood by the window while watching his sister paint , he was trying to play pranks on her as usual when his father pull him away
"I knew you did be causing trouble tyler" he said
"Father she always pranks on me first"
His father dragged him to where the knight are training he finds it boring "dad this is boring I don't have the intention of becoming knight" he said
"not becoming a knight but a king"
"dad you are the king and not me, I have no intention of ruling"
Albert was angry he grab his son by his shoulder and shook him " wake up tyler, you will soon become a man" he said with anger
Amanda ran and came between the father and son as she pull her son close to her " I will take to him my lord"
Tyler was sad as he sat down in the garden when his sister came to meet him, he pull her close to him and held her "what is wrong?" she asked
"nothing , just missing you"
He caress her hair as she relaxed her head on his shoulder while they sing ,she was braiding his long hair as she smiled at him
" will I ever find a woman as beautiful as you ari when I grow up''
"sure' she smiled as she peck him on his chin
Tyler started learning martial art while his sister always sneaked out of the castle to get flowers for him; their father has warned her never to leave the castle but she was too stubborn to listen
Its been a month the king announced the arrival of their betrothed "dad why didn't you say anything about it" tyler kept complaining
Albert didn't say a word until Sinclair and Kelsey arrived to the castle
Tyler was not pleased by princess Kelsey appearance he still love ariana no woman in the world like her ,he scoffed when he saw Sinclair he was no match to him when it comes to appearance but then he saw ariana smiling at him, he clenched his fist as he glare at Sinclair
"you are the most beautiful woman I have ever come across princess ariana"
"its an honor to please you my prince"
Tyler was not saying anything, Kelsey smiled as she bow before tyler "its an honor being your betroth my lord"
He smiled as he stare at ariana who seems to be enjoying sinclair's company
Sinclair was walking down the hall way when Kelsey pull him to the hiding and began to kiss him
" I have miss you so much my love"
He gently pulls away from her as he wipe his lips which got her annoyed at his sudden change and action
"What is wrong with you?"
"Kelsey let's stop this, I can't continue anymore"
"Is it because of ariana?" she flared at him
"Whatever we had is in the past now, please don't ever do this again"
He said as he walk away searching for ariana who was watching tyler train, he became the best among the knight he was undefeatable which got his dad proud as he watch his son swordsmanship skills
" I never thought he could be this strong" he admitted
" I told you dad , tyler is full of surprises"
Kelsey wish she could be loved by tyler which was impossible and then her lover is now in love with ariana the same girl who capture the heart of her lover and then her betroth ; she hate ariana with passion as she watched her clap as tyler approached her before hugging her then Sinclair interfere as he pull her close to him , Kelsey clench her fist in anger and hatred before heading towards them but she got ignored by tyler cause their attention was on ariana's painting
" its so beautiful" she heard Sinclair's voice while he stare at it with admiration
I couldn't stop myself for hating ariana no matter how hard I tried , she was indeed lovely and beautiful as her appearance she cared a lot about everyone but I still hate her ; Sinclair doesn't even look at me not even tyler that I have developed feelings for right from the day I met him but he couldn't love me back or even give me his attention
I strode around my room thinking of a way to get rid of ariana , I saw her rushing somewhere with the servant then I followed her and hide while I watch her disguise as a servant before leaving the castle . I smiled knowing I would be victorious I sneaked after her and follow her I watch her went into a deep forest and stopped as she began to sing while she pick flowers
I wanted to kill her but it would be risky so I called her out
"lady ariana" I said
She was shocked when she saw me I smiled at her as I bend beside her and start picking up the flowers with her
"how did you know I was here"
'I followed you"
She didn't say anything as she focus on the flowers "why are you picking up the flowers yourself"
"Its for tyler, I do come here every weekend alone to get him flowers nobody expect from you knows this place so keep it a secret" she said while smiling
"I will I promise"
Ariana returned to the castle but I told her I will be stopping somewhere, I was searching for some men whom I got connected to by my assassin and I told them when ariana would be going there and I took them to the place where they will find her "I want you to kill her"
"As you please my lady"
She returned to the castle and found tyler staring at his sword intensely " my lord"
"call me by my name my lady" he said while smiling
"why do you look so happy?"
"I receive a gift although I do receive it every weekend but today is different"
"Different?"
"Because am strong now and I can protect the woman I love"
She went speechless as she stare at him while he smiled before leaving he told her he would meet her for dinner
Tyler kept dragging ariana with him until they got to the field
" what is the surprise you have for me?"
He asked her to close her eyes as he put a necklace around her neck, she smiled when she open her eyes as she stare at the pendant it was a heart shape pendant
"tyler"
"open it" he ordered
She open the pendant only to find his picture on it , she smiled as she caress the pendant before closing it
"I don't want you to forget me and whenever you miss me after getting married you can always look into your necklace and you will find me there"
She hugged him close as she weep , it was obvious the both siblings don't like their betroth but they don't want to get their father angry
" tyler I saw them the day of their arrival, lady Kelsey and lord Sinclair are having an affair"
"what?" shocked by the revelation
"I couldn't tell you or anyone"
"Let's cancel the engagement' he suggest
"NO!'
"why?"
"Because Sinclair is now in love with me"
"I don't care"
She convince tyler on letting the issue slide while they sat down and start talking about marriage
"I cant believe, I would be marrying someone I don't love"
"We have no choice"
Ariana was picking the flowers she saw shadow hovering over her when she turn around she found no one ,she began to hurry as she pack up but someone grab her arm
" going so soon darling"
Terror tore through her when she heard the rough husky voice she was struggling against him but to no avail
She wanted to scream but he used his big hands to cover her mouth, another man came holding a knife he was walking towards her with the dagger
I felt like dying at that moment the man stopped in front of me , if only I had listen to tyler and my dad I would have been at home now; I was screaming tyler's name on my mind for him to come and save me but to no avail
"why does lady kelsey want us to kill this beautiful servant"
"Kelsey" I shouted in my mind , why was she trying to kill me I was brought back to reality when one of the man suggest they rape me , I began to struggle hard against them as I kicked one on his loin and the other between his thigh I began to run for my dear life but they were way too fast I felt my heart beating heavily, I saw a man riding a horse he look like a merchant I asked for his help, he rescue me but then after riding for over an hour he stopped, all my body was aching and in pain when I felt someone grab me
"you are so fine and will cost a lot" he smirked
"sir please am a princess those men are trying to kill me"
"princess in rags, its obvious you are a thief"
I exclaimed in shock I have never steal anything from anyone before as I began to weep at the accusation, I was thrown into a room where other woman like me are
I fell down on the floor fear ripped through me when I saw the people in the cage , she was shivering when she saw the merchant negotiating with another man who looked rogue, rude and wicked
He came by the cage and began to select the people he wants; he picked me and few other people I was scared as I got dragged out by some ruthless men
The merchant was sold them to the arrogant man as they began to chain them ariana tried to struggle but she got whip by the ruthless man she scream in pain as she fell down
It was then reality hit her "slavery" she thought as she cry in agony then pain was unbearable as the entered the ship she could see the castle tower as she began to cry in pain she was thinking about tyler; she wished she could be rescued but couldn't it was like a nightmare and she wished someone could wake her up from this nightmare
She kept staring at the tower until it was out of sight, she kept crying while the other slaves are sad it was obvious they have already accept their fate
The whole kingdom was in chaos, the maid who helped ariana out was punished she have waited all evening for ariana to return but she didn't she went to the king and told him what was going on
Tyler couldn't concentrate he went out with the knight searching for his sister but could not find her ; they split in groups as they searched everywhere but could not find her "my lord" derrick called out to tyler as he ran towards the direction he found the flowers she always pick for him and then blood stains everywhere
"NO!" he screamed
He can't believe it, it is impossible he fell down on his kneels as he screamed her name "ARIANA!!!!!"
Everywhere turned black as he fell unconscious , they believed she was murdered , Kelsey couldn't do anything for both tyler and Sinclair everything got worst and she couldn't bear the rejection and hatred from tyler , she was trying to calm him down when he roughly grab her neck
"this is all your fault"
" let me go" she said while choking her words
The guard's pull her away from him, the lost seems to affect the entire kingdom the queen has been unconscious for the past three days
Ariana was staring at the place they arrived in she was in pain when they dropped her and other slaves in a big harem where they were many other slaves
