章節 16: Battle Against Wolves - Chapter 16 - Part 1
Alan looked at the first wolf and then stopped hesitating.
Slowly gripping his spear, he takes a deep breath and shoots it. with the power and agility Alan holds now.
Before the wolf targeted has a chance to dodge left,
Spear directs a shot at Dire Wolf on the right side.
The spear penetrates its head, and the wolf drops dead on the ground.
Alan smiles as he feels the energy in his body increase.
Every time he kills a monster or a contestant, his energy levels, physical power, and other things increase to some degree.
The feeling is enough for people to get addicted to it.
The three dire wolves looked at the dead body of their friend, and their eyes turned bloodshot.
They were about to attack.
Alan understands that the fear of the dire wolf has a point.
They previously caved in and attacked him near the fire.He grips another spear and shoots down.
This time, all three escaped from the spear.
Alan starts to shout.
"I am not going to let you guys chew off my body without a fight."
Alan's words were clearly understood by the Dire Wolves.They looked at each other. Alan means what he says.
In a full-frontal battle against three dire wolves, it is more than likely that he is going to lose.
Even if he won, it would be such a battle that he would be harmed beyond a saving point.

Alan quickly made a plan in his mind and started to work on it. It is the best plan that comes to mind.
He takes another spear and then slowly gets closer to three wolves.
They stood up straight and just looked at him with clear anger and hunger in their eyes.
Alan laughed like a maniac, showing his teeth.
"You saw how I killed your packmate; now what is going to happen?"
"You little things are just going to watch and let me kill you one by one."
Alan did not know if they understood his words.
But he knew that these creatures were not the same as dogs or wolves from Earth.
Their nature and intelligence are much more advanced than theirs. They have some magical qualities that he can feel but can't put a name on.
He believes, even if they cannot understand what he means directly.
They can take meaning from his behavior and words.
It seemed like his words were working.
Three wolves took one step forward. Alan laughed even more.
Later, three dire wolves lunged at Alan simultaneously.
Alan grips his spear tight and shoots it at the one closest to him.
The spear penetrates the creature from the head, and the dire wolf drops dead on the ground.
Just a second later, Alan jumps back, picks up another spear, and swings his sword.
"Augghh"
There is no way for him.
He needs to bring the number two down. Against two dire wolves, with his spears, fire pit, and sword, he believed he could take it.
