章節 33: 33 – In your eyes
AKANE: SEI!
Akane is still trying to get Seis heart to beat. Than she remembers her healing water. She remembers Eirs words from before her mission, when she gave her the bottle of Elixir.
EIR: Use it only on surfaces of the body. And only if you're in a near death situation drink one drop of it.
Akane looks at Sei. She grabs the bottle from her pocket.
AKANE: Please work.
She pours one drop in his mouth. Nothing happens and for a second Akane thinks that it didn't work, but then suddenly he opens his eyes – the blue part of it glowing, and starts breathing. Akane releases her breath and leans on her arms. She sighs in relief.
SEI: W-what happened?
AKANE: Your heart stopped beating.
SEI: Huh?
PERL: Miss Akane saved you sir.
AKANE: I-I...
Sei smiles weakly, his breathing still uneven.
SEI: Thank you.
He tries to stand up and he almost falls, but Akane catches him.
AKANE: You shouldn't.
Their eyes meet.
SEI: You have such beautiful eyes.
Akane blushes, trying to get Sei to sit down.
SEI: My mother had blue eyes too.
AKANE: You should sit down.
SEI: You remind me of her. Maybe that's why I like you so much.
She sits him down.
AKANE: Sei stop saying nonsense.
SEI: It's true.
AKANE: I like you too, but I don't think this is the time to talk about it.
SEI: What does it mean?
AKANE: Huh?
Sei is pointing at the drawing of her symbol that she has on her neck.
SEI: That symbol on your neck.
Akane sighs and sits down.
AKANE: On Vulmone we have ten most powerful assassins. All ten of us have this mark somewhere on our body.
SEI: So you're one of the strongest?
Akane nods.
SEI: Who are the other nine?
AKANE: My sister and my parents. Others I don't know.
SEI: Your family must be important than.
Akane looks away.
AKANE: I guess...
Sei starts intensely at the symbol.
SEI: I don't know why, but I have a feeling that I have seen it when I was little.
AKANE: You couldn't. Only we have it and we've never been here on Ceanus before.
SEI: I guess... I want to eat something.
AKANE: Should I come with you?
SEI: Please.
She helps him stand up.
SEI: Thank you again.
AKANE: It's okay.
They go through the door and bump into Celeana on the hallway.
CELEANA: Oh hi! I'm kind of lost. Where's the main room?
AKANE: We're going there right now.
CELEANA: Oh perfect, we can go together. Thank you sis!
SEI: Sis?
Celeana laughs nervously.
CELEANA: Oh sorry. I don't want you to think I'm weird. I like to call my friends sis.
AKANE: I'm not your friend.
SEI: Yet.
She looks at him annoyed and he smiles.
