章節 46: Chapter 45: Sensei
Tsunade awoke the next morning and quickly prepared to go to school.
She left her room and saw a surprising sight, which was the fact that Mito, Haru, Ayako, and Tobirama were all at the dinner table.
"Shouldn't you be at work Dad, and don't you have to leave Grandpa?" She asked in confusion while joining the table for breakfast.
Tobirama looked at her and smiled as he said "We decided to start leaving a bit later for us to have time to eat breakfast together like we used to."
Tsunade smiled at that as she also began to eat and the family began talking about friendly topics.
"Are you sure you want to cook dinner tonight Ayako? You don't have to!!" Tobirama said as he paled.
"Yeah dear, I'm sure Mito won't mind cooking dinner like usual." he said while he also paled just thinking about his wife's cooking.
"Oh, are you and my Uncle saying that you don't want my cooking?" Ayako asked with a dangerous glint in her eyes.
Tsunade and Mito were trying hard to conceal their laughter as they came up with many different reasons as to why Ayako shouldn't cook dinner.
The family then finished breakfast, with Tobirama and Tsunade leaving in the same direction to go to the Academy and the Hokage's Building respectively.
The two walked in relative silence, with the only noise being the greetings they got from the villagers, until they arrived in front of the Academy.
"Good luck today Tsuna." Tobirama said while giving her a hug.
She then ran inside the building to go to class, with her arriving and seeing most of her classmates already in their seats.
"Hey Tsuna, are you ready to meet your jonin sensei today?" asked Sakumo as he saw her come in.
"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" Tsunade retorted back while goig to her seat.
And truth be told, she was actually quite excited about the situation. Due to her training with most of her class, she didn't know if she would still have her original team that was in the anime, or if it would be an entirely new assortment. She was hoping that she was still partnered with Orochimaru and Jiraiya though since she felt that the Sannin were an almost perfect team in the original. She was also certain that they could surpass their canon counterparts, to the point that if they fight the Demi-God Hanzo the Salamander during the Second Great Ninja War, they would not be the ones to lose.
She was also unsure if Hiruzen would still be her sensei or not. She honestly didn't like the man, although that could be due to the fanfictions she read in her previous life.
She was broken out of her thoughts by Yoma entered the classroom he smiled at them before saying "Today is the last day that I will be your teacher. It has been a pleasure teaching every one of you, and I hope that I see all of you around the village from time to time."
Most of the students smiled at that as they knew that Yoma really cared about them and wanted the best for them.
Yoma's face then turned serious as he said "However, your journey as shinobi will be a tough one, and the person who will be the greatest guiding force to you as ninja will be your jonin sensei. Make sure you impress them and give them proper respect." 'Though I doubt they'll be able to teach you monsters anything.' he thought the last part in his head.
The classroom door was then opened again by a tall woman who said "My team is Shinku Yuhi, Shiro Aburame, and Hiruko. You will be Team 12. Let's go." she said before leaving back out the door with those three following her.
The door was then opened by a young looking man who Tsunade recognized as Hiruzen who nodded in greetings to Yoma. He smiled at her when he saw her looking him, though Tsunade just rolled her eyes causing his eye to twitch.
"My students are Tsunade Senju, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya. Meet me on the roof." Hiruzen said before he disappeared using the Body Flicker Technique.
Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya looked at each other before nodding, after which they used the Body Flicker to appear directly in front of Hiruzen on the roof, surprising Hiruzen.
'Sensei said that their entire group was monsters, but they can use the Body Flicker as a genin!! I couldn't do that until I became a chunin.' Hiruzen thought to himself in surprise.
He then snapped out of his thought as he said with a smile "My name is Hiruzen Sarutobi, and I'll be your sensei."
