章節 64: Fake Piece From Kla

'Shanel: Wait, Yi Tingting. That dress you just sent in the chat, where did you see it from? It looks exactly like the newest design from Kla! I just saw the new collection, and the main piece of the collection looks exactly the same as that red dress!'

At once, everyone froze and Xu Anyi raised an eyebrow as she wondered what Yi Tingting and Xia Yiwei had just seen, for Xia Yiwei's face paled and her hand shook quickly for a moment.

The chat exploded once again, as everyone began asking Shanel if she was certain, and Shanel said that the dress looked exactly identical.

'Tingting, who is that in the image?'

'Yi Tingting, where are you right now?! So that's the main piece from Kla?! I can't believe that you got to see it first! Where are you, where are you?! I'll go over right now!'

Yi Tingting could feel the anger coming out of Xia Yiwei next to her right now, and she frowned as she quickly responded:

'Where else can I be?! Of course I'm at Yiwei's birthday party!'

'So is Yiwei the one wearing that dress? How did Yiwei get it?! I'm so jealous!'

'No way! Yiwei, what did you do?! Your body looks so much better now! It's only been a few months since I last seen you.'

'Yeah, and you seem to have gotten taller! Or is it just the dress? Share your secrets!'

Xia Yiwei's face turned green with anger as she shut her phone, and Yi Tingting flinched next to her.

'Yi Tingting: That's not Yiwei, are you guys blind? What do you guys know?! The dress is probably just a fake! No, it's definitely just a fake!'

She frowned as she then remembered something and asked:

'Doesn't Kla only produce one of the main piece for each collection? If there is only one, then this must be a fake, right?'

There was a moment of silence before Shanel replied:

'Shanel: I don't know. . . Yes, there is only one of the main piece, but the piece isn't here. I only saw the picture of the design.'

She then added, 'I heard the manager say that the actual piece was sold already.'

Yi Tingting scoffed and showed Xia Yiwei the message, "There's only one of it in the whole world, there's no way Xu Anyi could possibly get it. It has to be a fake."

Seeing Shanel's message, Xia Yiwei's anger dissipated slightly as well. After all, getting any piece from Kla was already practically impossible. On top of that, this was the main piece! And there was only one in the entire world!

Usually, the main piece was either sold at an outrageous price or was sold to a mysterious person that the designer never revealed. The designer did say once though that all of his clothes were designed for this person, which was why it was basically impossible for anyone to acquire Kla's main piece.

There were rumors that the King from Country M even tried to buy a main piece from Kla before for her daughter, but Kla refused to sell it in to the King, which greatly angered the King, but he could not do anything about it.

Yi Tingting closed her phone and looked over at Xu Anyi with a disgusted scoff, "Then where is that dress from if it is so expensive?"

Everyone looked over, awaiting her response.

Xu Anyi thought for a few seconds at Xia Yiwei and Yi Tingting's reaction a few seconds ago, and she replied, "Kla."

Everyone began murmuring as several of them gasped in disbelief, looking at the dress with sparkling eyes. How can that be?! No wonder it looked so beautiful. . .

But suddenly-

"Liar!" Yi Tingting exclaimed with a triumphant smile right away, "How do you have the guts to lie about that?! Practically no one can get Kla! Even if Yiwei went, she might not be able to get a piece. Do you think someone like you can?"

Some of the other girls who were close to Xia Yiwei also nodded their heads in agreement, partially out of disbelief and also because of jealousy at the possibility of Xu Anyi being able to wear Kla.

Xia Yiwei also looked conflicted as she said softly, but loud enough for everyone to hear, "Anyi, you don't have to try this hard. I know you want to look good for my party, but you don't have to lie like this."

Lu Yuzhe also walked over from all the commotion, and having heard about what was going on, he looked over at Xu Anyi with doubt.

Everyone was also beginning to doubt her words, as it was very hard to get Kla, and her background. . . Well, it wasn't exactly strong anymore.

"I'm not lying," she said firmly, "It's from their newest collection."

Yi Tingting burst out laughing, "Hahaha! Are you daydreaming?! How could you possibly get the newest collection? You mean the one that just came out today?"

Most of the girls that attended the party were also in the group chat, and a few of them couldn't help but be slightly suspicious because of Shanel's words. However, they refused to believe that she was actually wearing the real piece.

That was just impossible!

Xu Anyi looked down at Yi Tingting, who was about a head shorter than her, and she smiled in a pitiful and mocking manner, "I have my ways."

Yi Tingting got more mad, and she twisted her nose up in disgust as she turned around, facing the guests, "Stop lying! We all know that's impossible. How do you have the audacity to wear a fake to Yiwei's birthday party?! So humiliating!"

The other guests whispered in agreement as they looked at Xu Anyi with a different gaze.

"Isn't she the daughter of the Xu family? Who knows what happened to the Xu family? Even if they fell from power, it is even more humiliating to wear a fake. . ." One of the guests said, and Xia Yiwei suppressed a smile from hearing that.

She looked up at Lu Yuzhe, who was standing next to her, and he had a deep frown on his face.

Xu Anyi looked around, crossing her arms together as she slowly said, "It is from the newest collection, and it will be released tonight so this design hasn't been released yet."

"Exactly, so how-"

Xu Anyi immediately cut Yi Tingting off, "So how would anyone know how to design a fake unless they were able to see the original piece?"

She paused to let the words sink in, "But, the original piece hasn't even been released yet, so unless this was the original piece, there is no way it could look exactly the same unless the designer of the fake saw the original. But everyone knows that Kla's designs are always kept very secretive, so how can a fake possibly be designed and created before the original design is even released?"

Yi Tingting opened her mouth and then closed it as she fell silent, confused at Xu Anyi's words.

The other guests also looked at each other, confused, because what Xu Anyi had just said did make sense. . . And Shanel had also said that the dress looked exactly the same as the main piece.

So it wasn't a fake?
