章節 18: 1.17 A promise

For an hour the board members spoke about the company and every once in a while they would all peak at Cillian and King. Cillian was playing with King's tie, they would sometimes kiss or chuckle. It's like they were in their world completely uninterested in this meeting. Why did they even come then? While everyone felt that way Huang felt much better, it seems like since Cillian has fallen for King he doesn't care about the company.

It will make things even easier. He looked at a board member and an alpha said:

"I think that we should take a vote to make Huang the president of the company until a new unanimous vote passes."

Other board members echoed the sentiment and they looked toward Cillian and saw that he was still playing with King. This means that even when Cillian comes of age the company will still be run by Huang unless they can all agree that Cillian should be president which will never happen.

Huang smiled and said:

"Let's vote."
