章節 13: 1.12 Blackmail
King woke up first and looked at the person in his arms, he caressed his cheek. Now that he made him his he'll never let him be with someone else. He doesn't doubt that Cillian is his soulmate. He loves him and he won't give up until he loves him too. He leaned in and kissed him, after a few seconds he felt Cillian kiss him back. He pulled back and met his eyes.
"I have to go sorry I woke you I couldn't stop myself."
Cillian murmured:
"It's okay."
King nervously asked wanting to make sure he didn't regret their previous night:
"Are you okay with everything that happened last night?"
Cillian nodded with a smile. King unconsciously let out a breath then he said:
"When you leave for work take the two guards and the assistant I left for you okay?"
Cillian nodded, he doesn't need them but he doesn't want him to be worried. King kissed his forehead and left.
Cillian went back asleep until his alarm rang. After showering and having breakfast he left for work. As soon as he entered the company everyone glanced at him, they couldn't understand why a random person would have two security guards and an assistant. Those who knew he was Cillian were even more confused. They know how useless he is so why does he even need an assistant?
Cillian ignored them and got into the elevator. He walked to a closed office and pulled out a key to open it. When he entered the office he felt emotional and his eyes moistened. He looked around and walked to the desk, he picked up a picture and looked at it upset. It was a picture of Zonglin and his son and they looked so happy. When Cillian heard footsteps he turned slightly.
Zhao Qiping who was passing in front of the office like he does every day was stunned to see that it was open. He peeked inside and saw someone crying silently as he looked at a picture. He walked in and asked:
"Are you okay?"
Cillian quickly put back the picture and wiped his tears. He put on a smile.
"I'm okay."
Qiping looked around and asked:
"What are you doing in this office? Do you know who it belonged to?"
"My father."
Qiping looked at Cillian surprised, he's been here for a couple of years and before today he had never laid eyes on him. He was sure he didn't exist. He looked at him and gave him his hand with a smile.
"I'm Qiping it's nice to meet you."
Cillian took his hand.
"I'm Cillian it's nice to meet you too."
Qiping said:
"I'm having a party tomorrow for my birthday would you like to come?"
Cillian looked at him unsure but he insisted:
"Come one at least stay an hour."
Cillian nodded shyly and Qiping smiled. He never thought Zonglin's son would be this naive and gullible. He wants to buy more shares of the company so he'll have Cillian sell it to him. He'll just pretend to be on his side and let him know how everyone hates him. He'll feel grateful that he has his back and agree to everything he asks of him.
"I'll send the invitation to your house."
Cillian nodded then asked:
"Can Yuxin come too?"
Qiping felt like laughing. Does he not know how much Yuxin and Huang hate him? He smiled gently.
"Sure I'll send him one too."
He likes Yuxin so he doesn't mind inviting him, he finds him hot so at least it will allow them to get closer. They often flirt when they see each other but it hasn't gone further than that.
Cillian took a step closer and whispered something in his ear. When he was done Qiping said:
"I should go I'll see you tomorrow."
Cillian nodded and waved goodbye. His eyes turned vicious when he was gone. As if anyone can pull one over on him.
Huang barged into Zonglin's office without knocking and before he could scream at Cillian who was sitting behind his desk two security guards stopped him. He looked at them incredulously when he recognized them. Why is his family working for that worthless piece of shit? Cillian ordered:
"Let him go and wait outside."
The security guards and the assistant all left.
Huang was trembling in fury, he slammed the door and looked at Cillian in rage.
"Who do you think you are using my family as your staff?"
Cillian murmured:
"I didn't King insisted that they follow me everywhere from now on."
Huang narrowed his eyes. He is starting to lose patience, Cillian has to go now!
"Qiping has invited me to his birthday party tomorrow. Can I go so I can tell King that they don't need to follow me anymore?"
Huang's ear perked up and he asked:
"You're sure King will be there?"
"That's what Qiping said since they are close friends."
Huang smiled and said:
"Invite Xiang Kai to be your plus one."
Cillian looked at him unsure. Huang ordered:
"Do it unless you want to lose him as a client."
Cillian swallowed and grabbed his cellphone. He called Xiang Kai and he immediately agreed when he invited him. Cillian hung up and said:
"He agreed."
Huang smiled.
"Good make sure he has a good night and never leave his side or it will be rude. Okay?"
Cillian nodded.
Huang went to his office and called Xiang Kai ordering him to come to his office. Once Xiang Kai was there he said:
"Have a seat."
Xiang Kai sat down with a smile.
"What can I do for you Huang?
Huang turned his computer and Xiang Kai looked at the video wide-eyed. He slammed the computer shut and asked panicked:
"Where did you get this video?"
Huang answered with a smile:
"You send it to me instead of you and Cillian's sex tape."
Xiang Kai passed a hand through his hair while cursing inwardly. How could he be so stupid? He begged:
"Please Huang don't turn me in, if you do I'll go to jail. I promise I don't sleep with underage people anymore. I love Cillian and I want to be with him but if he finds out he will never accept me."
Huang leaned back in his chair.
"I won't say anything if you do something for me."
Xiang Kai immediately said:
"Sure I'll do whatever you want."
"Good listen to me carefully...."
Cillian closed Bloom and rolled his eyes. He might as well deal with Xiang Kai tomorrow since he won't need him anymore. Furthermore, Qiping's anniversary parties are always an affair to remember, there are always celebrities and paparazzi. He wants to make sure that Xiang Kai's moment is captured for eternity.
