Oksana
Assar moved over to a couch across from her, and before sitting down began to remove all of his armor. She sighed and got to her feet and moved over to help him remove it. She wrinkled her nose though as she got closer to him. He smelled, and her sensitive nose picked up, like every scent.
“You stink!”
Assar looked over at her and said, “You try traveling over forty miles on foot in three days without a bath, and see if you smell any better.”
“Forty miles?” She asked incredulously.
He nodded and said, “I told you it was a long story.”
She fell silent and just decided to wait for him to explain. Together they got the armor off relatively quickly, and Assar groaned in relief as he rolled his shoulders and stretched. She noticed with a small amount of worry though that his shirt and pants had large tear marks in them, and were covered in dry blood. He must have downplayed the extent of his injuries.
“Oh that never gets old, feels like I’m shedding a second skin.”
