章節 139: Renewed Mission

Cora awoke in her bed and trudged to the bathroom. The sky was gray outside the window just as usual, and she was alone. It was the most alone she had ever felt.

Why had she pushed him away? There were reasons of course, but now none of them seemed sufficient enough to have to endure the deep hollow cavern that had split open in her chest, leaving her aching all over. 

What was the point of being here anyway? Just to go along with this narrative of Ambrosia's? Just to pretend to be Rayth's partner? If she wasn't going to be a vampire, if she could keep her heart going on her own, then what did her future look like here?
