Latisha froze as it startled her to be kissed by Daniel. Daniel pulled her into his embrace and caressed her hair too. Latisha was confused by her feelings as it was their first time meeting, yet, she felt a strong tug in her heart the moment she saw Daniel. If it were John, she could understand as John was their Alpha. John is also more handsome and taller than Daniel. John's body is even sturdier than Daniel's. 

However, it's bizarre that she felt something different, just like that, toward Daniel. She wanted to gaze at him and worried Daniel might like another she-wolf. When he said not now, she felt he rejected her. It was as if her world were crushed into pieces. Yet, as he embraced her and kissed her lips, Latisha felt like she was over the moon. But again, they were strangers. Why did Daniel kiss her lips?

She couldn't think straight as Daniel whispered in her ear, "You are beautiful, Latisha."
