It wasn't long before the two had reached one of the biggest church within their town. There, coming from the inside of the church, the couple could hear the symphony of lyrics that rejoiced the birth of Christ.
Parents and grand parents were watching their offspring sing the sweet melodies of salvation, and the few bunch other than the groups of family, they simply came there to watch the spectacle of a performance.
The inside of the church wasn't the only location that gave birth to joyous sounds of salvation of course, because even at the outside of the church, there were people singing triumphantly. The theme of their songs were slightly different however, as their goal were more focused on wishing another's wellbeing.
To the couple though, although they could understand the well intention of the songs, they strangely felt uncomfortable.
Their vision was beginning to become blurry, the longer they remained close to the church. Not only that, but the closer they got to the joyous people, the more they felt their body wanting to shatter and dissipate.
At last, the two couldn't withstand it any longer, and therefore decided to leave the place.
It seems that a religious place wasn't good for them at all, and perhaps, it might be that they had no saving grace left. After all, if God didn't accept them, who would? The only thing the two could do now, was wonder around in the world, void from holiness, and perhaps soon to be embraced by darkness. If that was their fate, be as it may... What the two hope for though, is a better chance at their love life, and certainly a life void from suffering.
Now, in order to achieve that what they hope for, all they needed to do is wait and see what the supernatural world has in store for them. Exploring the supernatural world is a must do, if they want to achieve their goals, of course… The supernatural won't just come to their door step, after all, will they?
But isn't that just ironic? In order to achieve the love life and peace that they long for, they definitely don't need interaction with the supernatural. So, why the exploration? Is it even necessary?
In fact, it is to them…
The two are no longer humans. Their life has changed, and they're completely a different kind of existence. An existence that they are mostly ignorant about.
A human mind, living in a plane that simply defies logic. How would the two even live in peace, if they don't know their weaknesses, their taboo, or the end of their existence?
If they're not careful, they might have an accidental death again, but with no second chances this time. Imagine that…
Those two did imagine that of course. That's why they knew, knew that they had to be a part of a new society, if they wanted to achieve their goals of a happy and peaceful love life.
The two wondering spirits, they had to join the dark side…
But are they going to? And does something like that even exist?
They can only wonder and remain curious, until one day, when that day arrives. The day where they have no choice to join the dark side, because obviously, the supernatural world revolves around the definition of a coin with two sides.
Or does it?
And, is there perhaps, a deeper plot behind the holy and the dark side?
The couple won't know, unless they explore deeper into the supernatural. But for now, they'll just enjoy their first hours as a ghost. It is a new experience for them, after all, which to many, is quite addicting in the beginning.
The first things that the couple did to enjoy their first moments as ghosts, was wander around in special events and concerts for free. An even greater experience for the two, is when the lover of Alissa expanded his ability of psychokinesis.
From moving tiny objects, all the way to manipulating and controlling their surroundings. That's how great their powers are, and that's how Alissa was able to learn that psychokinesis basically meant the power of the mind. To manipulate and control objects with the thought alone. That's a simple explanation for their telekinetic abilities.
*Gasp* "Does this mean that we can control and manipulate a person's mind? I mean… Ghosts can possess people, right?!" Again, Alissa came with another mind blowing idea.
"Uhm… I don't think that's okay to do." It seems that her lover was slightly against her idea.
"Come on. It's gonna be fun!" Alissa persuaded, which made her lover agree eventually, although reluctantly.
To his opinion, it was not okay to mess with other people's mind. The mind is special after all, and is the most fragile thing that a human can have.
What if the victim becomes mentally ill? What if the victim's reputation becomes ruined? What if the victim loses their memories and changes their personality entirely?
Such thoughts of concern flooded the mind of Alissa's lover. He was cautious, and also respectful of other people's privacy and property. Nonetheless, it was his lover's desire and wish. Also, messing with other people's mind doesn't have too much consequences, as long as she didn't go too overboard.
She, of course, because he wasn't willing to mess with someone's mind at all.
"Haha! It actually works! I bet he'll be panicking when he wakes up to the sight of his sister's face tomorrow!"
After being able to do what she did, Alissa felt more content than she ever did. She had just performed the craziest prank in her life. Obviously, she couldn't feel more glad at the thought of the results.
"Who's next?" Alissa craved for more. Again, it was a new experience, and a great one this time. Of course she'd want to experience the thrill again!
"Alissa…" Her lover could only warn her, since it was only the beginning.
"Another!" It seems that she didn't have enough, obvious from the way that she showed how exited she was to possess another person's mind.
One became two, two became three, and three became eight…
"This is so fun. You should definitely try it." Alissa was addicted. Addicted to playing with someone's mind…
"Enough!" At last, her lover couldn't take it anymore, and therefore decided to stop her for good.
"But…"
"I said, enough! Look at yourself. You're starting to act like some serial killer or something." Her lover told her, trying to wake her up from her cruel addiction.
"Fine…" Luckily, Alissa was able to listen and calm down.
