Standing in the gently flowing water, I felt amazed at how different the tickling current felt, compared to the vast turbulent pool Selena entered for underwater training. 

Most of her memories seemed unpleasant and I found myself subconsciously pushing them into a box, only to be accessed when needed. 

"You alright kid?" Lux called from the trees behind. He strode over with a bundle of fabric. Tossing it onto a rock, he began to unfasten his armor. 

"What are you doing?" I frowned, feeling slightly self-conscious over my naked state. Though my long hair covered most of my back and chest, under the water my private area would be exposed if he got close enough.

They all thought I was a boy, to be honest, I was not sure what it even really meant to be a girl instead of a boy. I was just lacking the dangling thing between the legs they peed from.
