A sudden gust of wind caused the boat to rock and I lost my balance, almost falling onto the deck. Fortunately, Leon grabbed my waist with one hand in time. Then, he pulled open his coat with the other to shield me from the falling snow.
He continued to protect me as we walked into the cabin. We descended to the lower passenger cabin. Compared to the cold world outside, the cabin was thankfully much warmer.
After Leon swept away the snowflakes stuck on my clothes and head, he burned some wood for me to keep warm. I sat on a chair and watched everything he did. His back was turned to me as he lit the firewood on the stove. The light of the fire shone on his face, and I was distracted for a moment.
This scene felt a little familiar... It was just like the scene of Ian and Annie living in White River Village. Why did I still have memories of Annie and Ian in my mind?
