When Mason was done making plans with Stan to rent his rooftop restaurant for Ava's proposal, he went to visit his grandparents.

Thanksgiving was in a few days he needed to tell her that he was going to be celebrating it with Brad and his family.

When he got to the house he was informed by the help that his grandfather hadn't yet returned from playing golf.

"Your Momma is in her bedroom," the help said.

Mason thanked her and went to his grandmother's bedroom, when he got there he knocked on the door.

"Who is there?" His grandmother asked from inside the bedroom.

"Momma, it's me," Mason responded.

The moment she heard his voice she quickly said, "come in."

Mason opened the door to find his grandmother sitting in a chair, knitting what seemed to be a cap.

"Hey Momma," Mason went and hugged her.

"Mason dear," his grandmother gently patted him on his back.

"How are you?" Mason asked her as he sat down beside her.
