Ava was sitting on the bed after she finished talking to Jason. She had him ask after Layla.

Last night, when she had called him to find out if he had gotten Layla back home safely, Jason had told her that he brought her to his place instead. His reason was that he didn't want her to get into trouble with her parents by showing up home drunk. And Ava got his point.

Even though Jason just assured her over the phone that Layla was okay, Ava couldn't help worrying about her. Since last night she has been worried as she kept thinking about all the things that could have gone wrong if Jason hadn't arrived when he did.

How did he even get to know that they were at that party? Ava wondered.

Well... However he got to know their whereabouts doesn't matter much at this point, the most important thing is that he was able to save Layla from being raped by that bastard.
