章節 91: Dinner

Mason wasn't happy, he didn't want to have dinner with his father, he wanted to do anything but have dinner with that man. He didn't want to do anything with that man! Hell, he would even be grateful to take a swim with the sharks right now than for him to have to sit through dinner with that man. But Ava wants them to go and now he was driving them to his father's house because whatever his wife wants, she gets. 

It just dawned on him how much he loves her, no one has ever been able to convince him to go for any of the dinners or events his father had invited him to over the years. Several times Jason and Deb his stepmother had pleaded with him to attend, and he always refused. But Ava just insisted that they attend and here he was dressed up and taking her there. He suspected Jason knew he wouldn't refuse if Ava asked them to attend and that's why he decided to tell Ava about it, even after Mason had told him that he had no intention of honoring the dinner invitation.
