Tyler had a smile on his face as he held his phone to his hear listening to Sophia tell him all about dinner with Alex and his mom, and how she had been shocked to find out that Elizabeth was Alex's mom.

"Wow! I never would have guessed," Tyler said, and then paused.

"If she is Alex's mom, that means Alex had an abusive father. I did some research on Elizabeth and found out she ran away from an abusive marriage and that was why she decided to live rescuing other women from the clutches of their violent partners," Tyler said thoughtfully.

"Alex had an abusive father?" Sophia asked with a shudder, not wanting to imagine Alex being treated the way she had seen Tyler's father treat him.

"Yes. Elizabeth mentioned it in one of her interviews. I will find it on YouTube and text you the link," Tyler said, and Sophia sighed sadly.
