How fast a pregnancy grows, Vanessa mused as she stood before the mirror, keenly observing the baby bump which was fast growing on her stomach.

She stood sideways as she guided her hands around her stomach, her eyes creating an image of what the baby looked like and what position it was in.

Sometimes she felt its little kick, and she wondered if it was trying to have a conversation with her or making a complaint she couldn't understand.

The brief moments it moved were so difficult to ignore, making it even more difficult for her not to grow emotionally attached to the baby.

She sighed as she rubbed her hands around her baby bump. "You are growing a bit too fast, little girl." She whispered.

"Maybe you can take it a bit slow?" She asked and chuckled at her own words.

It was crazy of her to wish for the baby to grow a bit slowly, given her predicament. Her baby à attracted a lot of attention, especially among those that knew her to be unmarried.
