There was a lot of tossing and turning that night on both Alex's bed and Vanessa's bed. Neither of them could sleep as they both tried to figure out what was going on between them.

That kiss between them had been far from casual. And no matter how much either of them tried to go to bed, the kiss was the foremost thing on their mind.

Each time Vanessa shut her eyes, she saw Alex pulling her in for a kiss. She saw his hand wrapped around her waist, and hers on the front of his shirt holding and pulling him.

What was this attraction? What was this feeling? What was she going to do about it? Of course, she was aware that nothing good could come from whatever was going between them yet she didn't understand why her heart kept racing at the thought of Alex.
