"You want me to raise Yan Jing?" Tang Wan asked, puzzlement evident on her face.

Zi Mei nodded. "Basically, yes. But, I just need you to help me guide him. I can't take him to the countryside. It would be like cutting off his wings. But, I can't leave him with his father either."

"But, I can't possibly raise a child by myself."

Zi Mei shook her head. "I know. But, he is not going to be a burden, I promise. You don't have to care about his feeding, schooling and all that. I just hope you can take him in."

Tang Wan lowered her head. She ruminated for a moment before looking up at her.

"And his father? I wouldn't want anyone to come suing me for kidnapping a minor."

Zi Mei's eyes brightened up when she heard her words. It meant that Tang Wan was considering her request.

She immediately replied, "I already filed for a divorce and it's been approved."
