Just as Tan Rou turned around, Wang Si's neighbor came out. It was a young woman with a baby in her arms.
"Are you here to look for Old Wang? Old Wang should be at home," the young woman asked. "I heard some noise in his house just now. It sounded like an argument. I had to care for my child which was why I couldn't check up on them. If you know Old Wang, you should take a look."
"This door isn't open. I can't go in," Tan Rou said as she looked at the door.
The young woman smiled. "The lock of his house is not strong enough. The wind will blow it open if it's slightly stronger. You just need to use a little strength to pull the door open."
Tan Rou was skeptical, but she still did it anyway. Just as that woman had said, the lock on the front door of Wang Si's house was indeed weak. Even a ten-year-old girl could pull the door open, let alone her.
