It was wrath Luna caught reflected from Sandra's glare at her freezing body in dread; she didn't fear the horror in Sandra's exclamation but in grandma Li's incredulous stare at her eyes. If that old woman got provoked by the pictures in her hands, her life would soon meet its end; even in her imagination, Luna dare not face the disaster which might occur to her in the end.
"It is not true, is it, Luna? The picture is unmistakably fake, isn't it?" Too afraid even to hold her chin up, Luna beheld only the floor beneath her shoes with no single word she uttered as either a rejection or acceptance of grandma Li's statements.
"Luna, you have two normal ears to hear and one mouth to speak, don't you? Why do you turn your ears deaf and your mouth mute to my mother's question?" Unable to keep her patience in its tracks, Sandra shouted at Luna who still didn't initiate to word anything.
