"I hope you aren't saying that because you are looking down on us women, Marcus." The red haired fae narrowed her eyes dangerously on Marcus.

Marcus let out a laugh and shook his head.

"Of course not, Ricci. I actually admire how resilient women could be compared to a man like me. It is just that my father always taught me to never lay a hand on a woman to beat her, unless she's a threat to our lives."

"Then spar with me." Ricci demanded. "I want to know how strong you really are."

"Spar?" Marcus arched a brow on her. "You would be able to appraise my strength with a mere spar? I don't think that's possible, Ricci, and I would rather not hurt you or scare any of you if you know how strong I really am."

"Quite confident, I see. Such arrogance." The fae snorted.
