章節 23: Janets Punishment Part 3
~Janet~
What the hell is this! That weakling of a girl is going to be Luna how!? She is a nobody! Al was mine and now he is taunting me with her. My eyes widened when she snapped her fingers and magic emerged from her fingertips surrounding me, she said some words, but I was too worried about the green magic that just looking like it got absorbed into my body! What did this freak just do to me! I blinked looking at my body and hands. I didn't feel very different....
" Now we can see what kind of person you really are. Why did you say those things to me at the hospital?"
I narrowed my eyes to her, and my mouth started moving and saying things I wasn't supposed to.
"Because Alaric is mine and I didn't want a leach like you latching onto him" I clasped my hands over my mouth my eyes wide. That bitch put a truth spell on me! She nodded, seeming unphased by my words and Alaric spoke.
"It's ALPHA Alaric to you! You act as if we had a relationship...you were a leach only latching on to me thinking it will gain you status you didn't earn!" He growled out at me, and I glared at him.
"Then why not discard me like all the others! Why keep coming back to me!" My wolf Ginny was growling in my head ready to come forward at this humiliation. He laughed loudly, echoing through the room.
"I NEVER pursued you! You were always there, convenient, nothing more!" He paused and looked at her and she had a stern expression on her face at him....
" However, I realize how my actions could have been.... misconstrued, but now Janet you go too far. " I glared at them both.
"So why did you bring me here? To make me look stupid in front of your flavor of the week!" I ground out through my teeth " she ignored me and asked another question.
" Tell me Janet, if someone were claiming your mate brazenly what would you do?" I tried to keep my mouth shut but it was no use when it opened against my will again!
"I would scratch her face to make no man want her and take out her tongue so she can never claim what's mine again!" My mouth stopped moving and I could cover it up finally. Even if I tried to cover my mouth my hand would lock up at my sides! This was unfair! My eyes welled up with tears, this was wrong on so many levels I have alphas in my blood! She sat up there with Al and nodded looking at him "what do you think my love? Should we cut out her tongue and ugly up her face?" He nodded.
"It's up to you babe, your first act as a Luna, we should celebrate!" Luna Diana peeped up.
"Oh! We have an 1840s Lycan wine I'll grab it" she hopped up like I just wasn't accused of disrespecting Luna. My aura was flaring up, but I feared if I did anything else they might banish me, but I was furious, my wolf going wild in my head.
~Azaria~
I watch as she was practically boiling in her spot. I smirked and tapped a finger to my chin pretending like I didn't know what I was going to do.
"Hmmm scratching your face will be pointless, it would heal too quickly, we could use wolfsbane, but I don't feel like we should waste the materials on you." I stood and paced a bit behind Alaric's seat. I leaned over his shoulder some and whispered my punishment for her, to him before I decided to tell Janet. He smiled and nodded in approval.
"Bella, what do you think will be a lasting punishment but not consume precious resources. "I personally would burn her face, it will take a while to heal, at least 3 weeks if done correctly Luna." She smiled and looked at Janet, she must really hate her, she is so nice to everyone else. I giggled and Janet stood up full of fury and screamed towards me.
" YOU FUCKING BITC..."
SMACK! she plopped back down in the chair, and it slid back across the floor. She held her face in shock and Bella flexed her hand making sure it wasn't injured and turned to her calmly. Brandon and hunter on the other side of her stood as well trying not to laugh unlike the rest of the table who openly chuckled, and Bella said.
"How dare you disrespect the entire Alpha family! She IS Alpha Alaric's Luna given to him by the mood goddess!" Gabriel spoke up next.
"It isn't your place to say if Alpha belongs to you or not. You hold no rank in this pack, you're less than omegas, they contribute at least. What your doing is punishable by death, imprisonment at the very least." Hunter spoke next.
"It's by the grace of the woman you're disrespecting that you aren't in a cell right now." I smiled at the trio that backed up Al and me and I spoke again.
"Now for your punishment, you will get three. One for berating a patient in the hospital, another for disrespecting me and Al, and the last one for disrespecting the people here tonight. " I gestured to everyone here. I snapped my fingers twice, releasing the truth spell. And my green magic dissipated from her like steam. And she seemed to relax some, and I smirked, how foolish. Alaric spoke up.
" For disrespecting my family, my mate, and the highest-ranking members in the pack, I Alpha Alaric Greenwood, hereby strip you of any rank or power, inherent or earned and you are now an omega." Her eyes widened and she clutched at her chest and crumpled over it pain he let the moment pass and continued
" Your second punishment will serve as a lesson in humility and kindness. You will move out of your parents' villa and be assigned duties in the barracks and be housed there as well.
"WHAT! THATS COMPLETLY UNREASONABLE! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" I blinked shocked that she was really standing there screaming like a toddler not getting her way, if she had any strength, I think she would have been stomping her feet flailing on the ground, but that had to have weakened her she just glared and screamed.
"Words of kindness are give and take learn your lesson or seal your fate "
I stuck my hand out like I was reaching for Janet and a magic, green, wispy hand that mirrored my real hands movements, reached out and stretched towards her and grasped her neck. She screamed and I squeezed tighter her voice fading until her mouth was open but no sound came out. I snatched my hand towards me, and my magic hand mirrored me taking a golden glowing orb from Janet's neck. The magic hand returned to me placing the orb in my hand and I held it looking at it closely.
"For your final punishment I decided since you're so reckless with your word that you didn't need this voice of yours anymore. Now you won't be able to continue your bullying of others so easily. Even if you resort to physically hurting someone you will still be guilty, how will you defend yourself when you have no voice? Her mouth moved but nothing came out. Tears streamed down her eyes and while I didn't enjoy her pain, I knew it was necessary. I kept my head held high and kept my refined posture even on Al's lap.
"Now, if you don't want to lose your voice forever, I would suggest you behave and practice your kindness during this time, or I won't have any power to help you. What everyone else wanted was much worse, I hope to rehabilitate you."
I smiled at her, and she frowned, and Alaric chimed in.
" And if you do cause problems, we will have no choice to involve your father further than making him aware you're moving out of his home." He gave her a stern look and I leaned on him needing his vanilla scent to surround me. I was suddenly feeling very tired, and I whispered to Al.
"I'm tired can we eat in our room?" He nodded and his eyes became unfocused and two muscular men came in and stood on either side of Janet.
"They will escort you around to gather your things and do whatever you need to do but tonight you will be in your new living arrangements." He said with finality. He stood nodding to his mother and father, and he scooped me in his arms like I weighed nothing and left the dining room.
