When the dungeon was hollowed out by an attack on the first day of the Promise Time, there are only a few adventurers who had witnessed the incident because Hermes quickly evacuated the place to save and protect them.
However, the change at the surface was quickly noticed by everyone as the day turned into night and when monsters were no longer spawned if killed.
Chaos abruptly spread on the streets of Orario when news of a dungeon break was spread by unknown people, resulting in everyone fleeing away from their homes.
The once bustling City was now an eerie lifeless one, except for adventurers tightly guarding their Familia while waiting for their gods, only critters and varmints on the slums were left.
The first day of the Promised Time quietly passed, like a storm brewing, everyone knows that something will surely happen at any given time.
And that time came on the second day, as countless monsters similar to those who attacked Monsterphilia rampaged on every corner of Orario.
Those weaker adventurers can't pose any resistance against them as they were easily butchered like cattle and the stronger Familia has to join to barely eradicate them.
Thankfully there are no longer any civilians left in the city, however because of that no one noticed how most of the non-adventurous Familia has been cleared by an unknown group of people, and it was only been found out by the gods that govern them at the third day of the Promise Time when the meeting has adjourned.
A huge commotion occurred on the fourth night as a large number of gods ascended in succession.
Assassination, ambush and trap have killed the now powerless gods as they can no longer access their Arcanum because of Echidna's interference and corruption of Gaia through the Tartarus.
The damages have only been reduced on the fifth day when the Guild has issued for everyone to take shelter in the Tower of Babel and the now monsterless dungeon.
"How was the situation outside?"
An adventurer asked his friend while silently guarding his Familia members that were wounded in a fight, thankfully or not their god saved them before dying in exchange.
"Monsters are still roaming outside, however, the Loki and Freya Familia are already clearing them one by one."
"I see."
Hopeless he can only gasp at his now broken sword that he found in a monster carcass along the way, without the forging Familia they couldn't access a new weapon and armor to help ward the monsters at bay.
"I heard that they would start to venture into the lower dungeon to conquer it, however, there would be no one to guard this place, so I am here to ask you if you want to help me along with the guys outside."
The man looked at his longest friend, after being together forever he knew that even with his brutish personality, he would do his all to protect his place, however it has long since fallen.
"Bors…you know that they could barely beat those monsters outside right, how could we even help if we don't have weapons to use?"
Bors, the former head of the Under Resort, slowly grins before slapping his chest.
"We still have our bodies to fight! What are you complaining about? Let's go!"
He tried to pull his friend from the ground but grabbed nothing but his sleeve as there were no more arms in there.
"Heh, what's with that face? Got shit in your mouth? Even if I'm right-handed, my left arm is stronger than my right arm!"
His friend pushes him instead and walks straight ahead before calling someone to take his place.
"Heh, that's because you wxnk in that hand, you moron!"

"Tsk! This Earthquake gets stronger every Fking time!"
Bete crushes an enemy's head like a paste on the ground before rushing to a new one, even with their large number they are still comparable to level 2 and 3 adventurers.
"Don't get too far Bete, we don't know if there is a stronger enemy ahead."
Finn warned his comrade before pulling his spear on a corpse, it's been the last day of their clearing before delving into the dungeon, yet there are still countless hostiles on the surface.
They could have left on the third day, however the losses and shock everyone experienced paralyzed the whole city itself.
Even they have lost someone dear to them.
"Where is Ais?"
"Chased by Bete ahead."
Gareth answered in a sober voice, contrary to his usual attitude.
When they have learned that monsters are attacking the city they immediately rush to respond, however their negligence has cost them the life of their friends, along with Lefiya.
The shock that they experience has cost a greater disturbance in their rank, as the twin Amazoness had rampaged and was immobilized.
However, the greatest one to be affected was Riveria as she almost unleashed a large-scale skill amid Orario that ended up in Ignus Fauus when she forcefully stopped her attack.
Her magic that backfires has caused large damage to her system, which resulted in her being bedridden for a week and won't be able to participate in their last adventure together.
"Any news on the Freya Familia?"
Finn glanced at the now darkening miasma-filled sky and remembered what Loki had told them that it prevents the gods from using their Arcanum, but it seems to also weaken them every single day.
"Hunting some enemies, and I heard it's on par with the King, as he has also joined them."
"Hmmm, I see, maybe we should regroup now and head back as the day is ending, we also need to check the twins if they can make it tomorrow morning."
However, before they could fire the signal for retreat a large explosion occurred in the nearby vicinity.
Imediately they rushed to check the commotion and found Bete holding Ais with a large hole in her stomach and her chest.
"MIIIIIINEEEEE!!!!!!"
Like an enraged howl, Bete exclaims with all his might, telling them that he has already marked his prey on his own.
