"Did they investigate the case?" Ava asked.

"Of course they did." Jude frowned. "An agent investigated the case. It was proven that she killed her husband."

"Proven? How?"

"I just told you… someone witnessed it. And you can check her files."

And Ava did exactly that. It was said that the woman had been abused since they got married twenty years ago. They had one teenager son who witnessed everything. However, on the day of the murder, the mother went to watch her son's football game and many people saw her there. 

She made sure to act friendly with other people, talked to the teachers and even the coach. There were a lot of witness who could put her there. It was as if… she intentionally did it.

At ten in the evening, she was informed that someone killed her husband. And he had been dead for a few hours before they found him. 

Of course, her alibi was perfect.
