"None of your concern," I snap at him before I turned to my kids. "Run to the car with Ray, I will meet you there," I instruct Ryn since he's the more mature one between them.

He's the one who looks after his sister.

"But daddy—"

He started to say, but I cut him off. 

"Take your sister with you. I will be there in a minute. Just go."

And this time, he left with Ray, who looked like she wanted to stay with me.

"What do you want, Sly? Why can't you leave me alone?"

"Who's the father of those children, Lee?"

"My boyfriend. They are his kids, but now they are mine since we are dating." I lied through my teeth, with my face as straight as ever.

My partial attention was on my kids as I looked to make sure they were okay.

"Your boyfriend?"

"Is there anything wrong with it, Sly? You have a daughter, just go back to her.
