"I'm waiting for my girlfriend," I said before I started for the stairs.

I need to know why Pop hasn't come back since she left.

Could it be that she has something to do? Is that why she hasn't made an appearance down here?

"Where are you running off to?" The tattooed man stopped me from going further.
