Sly and I sat at the table he reserved for the meeting.

"Should we order something before he arrives?" Sly asked after a minute or so here.

"No."

I don't have the appetite to eat now that I know I'm close to meeting my mom.

"Are you nervous?" Sly joined our hands together. He pressed my hand.

"No."

"You are nervous." He chuckled, "you don't have to be. I'm here with you." He smiled at me, "I will be with you. You can lean on me all you want."

"I will," I place my head on his shoulder.

Being here with me is the best thing I can ever ask for.

Sly gently caressed my back, "do you want me to tell you a story to deviate your attention?"

"Which story?" I glance up at him.

"Should I?" He arched a brow instead.

"If it's interesting, you can tell me. But don't tell me any story if it's not interesting."
