Bai Liyue stirred from her slumber to the annoying sound of a keyboard being tapped. She opened her eyes and saw Qin Yufeng sitting by her side, working diligently on his laptop. She tried to get up but felt weak, and before she could even ask for help, Qin Yufeng noticed her little movements and gently assisted her.

He handed her a glass of water and said, "Here, love, have some water."

"Thanks," she thanked him and took the glass of water. 

As she took a small sip, she looked around the room and immediately noticed that she was in an unfamiliar place. This was not her room. She couldn't help but ask, "Where am I? This isn't my room."

Meanwhile, Qin Yufeng observed her reaction closely, with a sense of unease. He was apprehensive about how she would react after the events that happened in the room. He was dreading her reaction. He was waiting for her to question him regarding that death certificate.
