章節 87: Being a scum

Making a small 'ding' sound, the elevator stopped at her floor. 

Bai Liyue got out of the elevator and walked toward her apartment. She took out a small key from her purse and opened the door. Inside, the atmosphere was quite cold and a strange silence filled the entire house. Suddenly, one of her eyes began to flicker, and she could feel an ache in her belly telling him that something seemed off. 

Something was terribly wrong here. Ominous thoughts squirmed at the back of her mind and several cold spiderlike fingers went up and down her spine. She wanted to call her maid's name, but something stopped her from doing so. Thousands of questions prowled through her mind, as she slowly made her way into the living room. 

The moment she entered the living room, her body froze.
