章節 9: TWIST
"Brother!! Grandpa!!! No cutting my words! And I want to go abroad that's it! Also, I don't want you to stop those comments because people will think that I am misusing my family's power and whatnot!..... " And like this Ning Mei almost spend an hour convincing them. And the two stubborn men only gave up when she was close to tears.
But the two poor men almost got a cardiac attack when they heard that she wanted to leave tomorrow itself!
" Ning Mei! Have you lost your mind? Today you come to us and say that you want to leave the country tomorrow! Don't you think this is a joke here! " Ning Jiming fumed in anger. He was really angry this time.
Ning Mei was stunned. It was rare that Ning Jiming called her by name. Though she didn't blame him for that. She knew that he was concerned about her safety and all.
Still, she gathered her guts and said slowly, " Brother, I want to go tomorrow itself. I don't want to spend any more time here. I want to go, please. Please brother. Please." And tears flowed like water from her eyes.
Ning Jiming went quiet. He didn't understand why she was so hell bent on leaving the country. And that too today itself.
Elder Ning didn't say anything and just kept mum. Ning Mei had a bad feeling, but she still didn't waver from her decision.
And the very next morning, before anyone woke up, Ning Jiming drove her to the airport. He had already booked a ticket for the first flight to America last night. Also, he arranged for her accommodation.
Except for Ning Jiming and Elder Ning, no one knew else about her departure. She was basically fleeing away. But what made her more upset was... that even Grandpa didn't see even her.
And she was gone. No one knew where. As she had asked them to not reveal anything to anyone.
Everyone thought that the Ning Family had kicked the jinx away.

Ning Mei shook her head and released a deep sigh...
She stood up and went to the mirror. And saw herself. She has changed so much. But... what didn't change was her cunningness... And she smirked.
" My cuties still think that I am so innocent. And that I ran away because I was afraid of the trolls and backbitings? "
Hehe...
Mischief clouded her eyes as she recalled her real evil deeds three years ago...

Ning Mei didn't really understand why Yu Lian is so angry when it was she who was framed.
Now when she, who is the real victim has no heart to get angry at the culprit. Because the quota is already being filled by her best friend.
" Lian, will you please stop moving like this? It's making me feel dizzy alright?! " Ning Mei said in a bored voice.
Yu Lian stopped and looked at her in disbelief, " Mei? Do you even have a conscience?! "
Ning Mei raised her brows and said, " Oh? May I know Madam, why do I need my conscience here for? "
"What? Shouldn't you curse that culprit together with me?! See! I am wasting so much of my energy..! " Yu Lian said.
Black lines drew on Ning Mei's face. " I better use my energy to expose that person rather than cursing. "
