Arabella's POV
"Arabella? What are you doing here in the living room? It is almost four o'clock in the morning." I was startled when I heard my mom's voice, and I was disoriented for a while where I was, and I realized I had gotten out of my room when I couldn't sleep after my talk with Tyler.
I was still holding his daughter's drawing in my hands, and I didn't realize I had dozed off on the sofa. I felt glad I was able to change into my pajamas. I remember I opened the wide window of the living room; the coldness of the night and the pounding of the waves on the shore calmed me to sleep.
"I couldn't sleep last night after I talked with Tyler; why didn't you tell me he was coming, mom?" I asked as I couldn't hide my disappointment in her, and I could see the guilt on my mom's face.
