King Jian pushed open the door to Neveah's quarters, but he did not even need to look around to know Neveah had long been away.

His brows furrowed into a frown and he strode out to meet Xenon who had just returned.

"She is not in the castle, or the City Guard." Xenon revealed in a tone of concern.

King Jian had already expected that much, one could not put it past Neveah to take matters into her own hands, she was always that daring.

"Her subordinate?" King Jian asked.

"The Commander of City Guard is off duty." Xenon relayed.

"Find his residence and find out exactly where she is, keep an eye out and intervene the moment there are any signs of danger. I will see this Blackbird for myself." King Jian instructed.

Xenon headed off without delay and King Jian also took his leave. Unlike Keep Skies, the Dune Castle did not have it's dungeons underneath.
