It had already been a few hours since Menarx took his leave, yet Neveah's mind was yet to settle down.

Infact, Neveah grew even more restless with each passing moment and Menarx's words replayed in her mind over and over again.

"Do you truly believe that?" Menarx had asked, there was a meaning to his words which he did not care to explain and though Neveah waited, Menarx had said nothing else of it.

 Neveah had given those words much thought, in an attempt to understand Menarx's meaning and she still was not clear on exactly why Menarx had said them.

Did she truly believe that Xenon would not listen to her?

Neveah did believe so, even if she wanted to believe otherwise, she no longer wanted to live in the deception that she was special to Xenon.

Reality had hit hard and harsh when Xenon looked in her eyes and called for another, Neveah never wanted to find herself in that position again.

Yet, Menarx's question still settled heavily over Neveah's mind and deprived her of sleep.
