Neveah stood stiffly, struggling against Alessio's hold was futile and would only drag out his ministrations and so Neveah just stood there, her eyes staring ahead blankly.

Alessio's lips moved against hers, his warm breath fanning over her face, stirring an unwelcomed feeling deep within her, a feeling that Neveah would never be willing to explore.

Alessio did not relent, he seemed to be certain Neveah would succumb to him and as sparks spread from wherever he touched, Neveah's heart was tugged furiously as the mate bond was stirred again.
