Joy still didn't know what to do about her speculations about Derek's feelings or her own when she overheard what Rachel said about him being her boyfriend to Dana and he didn't refute it, even if he did seem uncomfortable and spent pretty much the rest of the night hiding after that until Rachel wanted him to come play a game with them. 

He was blushing heavily at dinner and wouldn't meet anyone's eyes either. That was basically the final confirmation she needed and she couldn't deny that her heart went a little wild. 

Derek was in love with her. She never would have seen that coming!
