Our lips barely touch, shy and hesitant at first but warm all the same, but it does not take long for him to put more pressure and start moving his lips, the wetness and texture of them brushing and moistening mine, taking my thoughts away and only leaving space for his burning touch, the exploring lips, hot against my cold skin, the hugging arm going around my waist and pulling me closer to him until my hands are against his chest, our breathes meddling together on the brief moments we could part.

And yet it was not suffocating, nor terrifying, it is exhilarating, it makes my heart pound inside my chest and warm up with a rare heat that works its way up on my frozen muscles as a warm bath would do to a battered body.
