"Is he cold?" Aunt Saraswati asked. 

"N-no..." Priyanka stammered. She was supposed to act like they were in love. How can she explain his cold attitude to her without telling the truth?

"Karan behaves like a kid sometimes. Before you know, he is an adult and the next minute, he is an authoritative boss at work, isn't he?" She asked her daughter-in-law. 

Priyanka nodded. A mother knows her child well. Karan was difficult to understand. He changes all the time "I don't understand why he is like that."

"Yes, dear. It's would be difficult for you to understand why" she continued. "Karan isn't fine. He needs your support and love. I'm not imposing this on you and I don't want you to make yourself uncomfortable because of him."

"Good."

"How about Aanya's mother? Where is she?" The pleasant smile on the woman's face disappeared. Priyanka noticed that she was sad. "Did I say something wrong?"
