Why couldn't I understand this guy?

I could understand mother kitty just fine but-

But this guy was different. 

Understanding one or two thoughts from time to time wasn't a big deal but- more often than not, I couldn't understand him at all!

Anyway-

I patted him- and just held like a little baby.

A very big furry little cat baby but oh well. 

Rather soft too…

Running my face against his fur felt divine…

Heh-heh…

"Hey don't lick my nose!"

"Mraw!"

Chilly-

Cold-

And-

"Snow?"

Well, that was odd-

"Chu!" Kitty started sneezing cutely…

'How the hell are you cold even with that soft warm fur?'

The temperature just dropped rather ferociously-

Quake-

Another mini quake-

Something was definitely wrong with the world but it wasn't obvious.

There weren't any obvious storms or large quakes. 

But that wasn't supposed to be the case.
