章節 25: She Had To Do Him

Chae In Ha was not an actress, but for the sake of revenge, she would put on an Oscar-award-winning show. Hence she fell to the floor hard and make sure the emotions, surprise, then shock, hurt, and disappointment spread across her expression.

The instant In Ha fell, there was a shocked gasp from the crowd as they were unable to believe that Soo Ah would do such a thing, and to her older sister, just because she's jealous. They thought she was a nice girl? Who knew that she was acting all this while? This is why you should never accept illegal scum, they would do nothing but break up the family.

The moment Soo Ah saw the accusing and disgusted look on the faces of the guests, she began to shake her head in denial, "N-no, no... It's not me... I-I didn't do it," She said desperately but who would believe her when the evidence was staring right back at them.

It was quite funny though because in the past, when she was legally brought into the family, Soo Ah used tricks like this one to drive a wedge between their father and In Ha. She had always resented Chae In Ha for having an easy life while she was hidden away like a rat even though she was their father's child as well.

Even without knowing she was her sister, In Ha always took care of her, and Soo Ah found that laughable. How dare she treat her like a charity case when she deserved to enjoy the same privileges as her; Soo Ah never appreciated her love.

Hence, the moment she came into the family, her first goal was to steal their father's love and leave none for In Ha. All those years, In Ha, had their father for herself, now it was her turn. Soo Ah successfully portrayed Cinderella as the evil sister this time until the last straw that broke the camel's back, the incident that  left their father no choice but to banish her to the states.

Yes, she enjoyed each and every one of her tricks, but then, who knew that Chae In Ha would return to the country to use the same trick on her. Only this time, it was not just in front of their father, but the whole world because she could see reporters recording the incident.

Who knew In Ha has changed.

"Sister, how could you...."

Chae Soo Ah looked down to see In Ha shedding fake tears and as much as she wanted to yell to the crowd that she was faking it, nobody was going to believe her. So with deep humiliation, Chae Soo Ah turned and ran up the stairs, wanting nothing more but to hide in her room and left the befuddled Woo Bin all by himself. This engagement party was a disaster.

Immediately, the girls Rachel, Helen, Gwen, and Allison came to In Ha's side and helped her to her feet. But they planned this all along and the moment, In Ha's gaze connected with Helen, the most outspoken one in the group, she began to wail loudly,

"This is why I warned you never to return to this place! Look at that sister of yours, even after so many years of sabotaging your relationship with your father, she still hasn't changed. How could she do that to you? Come on, let's leave this place. Coming here in the first place was a mistake. "

At once, before even her father's guards could stop them, Chae In Ha and her friends made it out of that place. However, before she left, In Ha managed to catch her father's gaze and saw a hint of remorse on his face. Was he regretting all those times he didn't take her side in the past when it was obvious that Soo Ah set her up?

Oh no, he shouldn't feel any paternal love for her now, because she was just beginning.

Once seated in their car, all of the girls were silent for a moment before they all burst into laughter. For a complete five minutes, they just spent it celebrating their victory.

"Oh my God, Hana! You are unbelievable! You should have become an actress honestly!" Gwen surprisingly complimented her.

"The look on their faces was so damn unbelievable that I was tempted to laugh while keeping off the guards," Rachel confessed.

One by one, her friends pointed out the part they found funny during the party and in the end, silence reigned after they laughed for so long.

Helen then asked, "So, what now? The night is too young," She hinted at a celebration.

In Ha smirked knowingly, " What do you think? We party!"

"Yes!!!!" The girls were in total support and In Ha pulled out her phone to search for the best club in the city since it has been a while since she was away from the country.

She came across a nightclub cabaret on the tenth floor of an already-built hotel and it was currently one of the most famous clubs in the city. Hence In Ha secured their tickets and in no time made it to the classic nightclub. There were barely clad singers performing on stage but In Ha didn't care because they were here to celebrate their victory!

They ordered drinks upon drinks knowing their plan was to get wasted that night and the next, they were on the colorful dance floor, dancing the night away until In Ha decided she had enough and wanted to rest her feet, However, she was so drunk that she stumbled sideways and mistakenly spilled her drink on the man next to her on her way to their lounge chair.

"Geez, I'm so sorry!" In Ha immediately apologized to the man who stood up to his full height and she froze the instant she saw his face.

"Wow, so handsome," She said out loud, drunk out of her mind already.

In Ha was quite picky about the men she dated, but right now, this one made the cut. She felt an instant attraction to the stranger in front of her and there was no way on earth she was leaving this club like this. She had to do him.
