Intrigued, the bishop moved toward the commotion. He was about to check what was going on when the door opened abruptly and an unshaven man in a scruffy T-shirt and plaid flannel shirt rushed in. Father Bartłomiej ran in behind him.

“Well, there you are," cried the newcomer, passing the bishop and heading straight for Lechoń. “Can you explain to me what the hell this is?” he waved some kind of piece of paper in front of him.

Przytulski gestured to the people that wanted to stop the troublesome newcomer.

“I'll take care of it," he promised. “Calm down, everything is under control.”

Admittedly, this was yet to transpire, but the priest-bishop for some reason did not feel uneasy and the newcomer, instead of negative, evoked warm emotions in him. Although the visibly agitated visitor shouted and cursed, but one did not sense bad intentions from him. On the contrary, he gave the impression of someone driven by sincere concern.
