After the baby in Kalea's belly had been examined, they both headed back to the village. The journey to get there took about 3 hours more, probably arriving before sunset.

"Lea, do you want to eat first?" Kai asked as he started the car engine.

At first, Kalea wanted to refuse, but after hearing what the doctor said earlier, she finally nodded her head. "But just buy some food at the convenience store, snacks are fine too," she replied. Her baby girl could not be deprived of nutrition, whether she was hungry or not, Kalea had to keep eating.

"Is that okay? We still have time if you want to eat at a restaurant."

"Is anyone looking after your sister at home?" Kalea asked back, making Kai frown a little confused.

"Why are you suddenly asking about that?"
