The next day when I woke up, Xavier was gone. But his side of the bed was still warm, assuring me that it was not a dream after all.

I blushed, recalling the memories of the night. I grabbed the blanket near my chest and inhaled deeply. The fruity smell was fabricated, yet I didn't fail to recognize it.

I was startled by a knock at the door. I had completely forgotten that I was naked under my blanket.

I assumed it was the maids who, as usual, came to serve breakfast.

''Come in," I said, yawning.

"Have you slept–" the man who entered my room had lost his words upon seeing me.

I was startled by the male voice. I looked up to meet the frozen Lord Cardis. That man had even forgotten how to move. Shortly, it hit me hard as I screamed, getting down under my blanket.

"Get lost, you pervert!" I yelled from under the blanket.
