章節 19: Chapter 19 - Rage

I hastily got up in the lord's massive bed. My chest was swollen. I could feel the pain. I never knew bee sting could hurt that bad.

I tried to remember what happened after I fell into the river. For a moment, I felt like I saw the Lord's face. I got down from the bed and put on my slippers.

The door opened, and the Lord stormed inside fiercely. He halted in front of me. His face had darkened. I could tell that he was exasperated at the moment.

I decided to stay quiet. It would be unusual if he did not react.

"Won't you explain yourself, My Lady?" he asked as calmly as possible. I could tell that he was trying his best to suppress his anger. I remained quiet.

"I warned you about Edrik, My Lady," he said coldly.

It hit me suddenly. I had almost forgotten about Edrik. Lord Xavier and Prince Edrik were not on good terms. Since prince Edrik was the one who took me to that place, indeed, he would be held responsible for my accident.
